The team of Aschorjo Prodip stormed Zee Bangla Dadagiri Program.

Director Anik Dutta had made a new film Aschorjo Prodip. It has been based on the literature of Sirshendu Mukherjee. Saswata Chatterjee played the character of a middle class person in the film. He initially was an ordinary salesman. Srilekha Mitra played the role of his wife in the film. All of a sudden he received an aschorjo prodip, that means a light from where a character Genie came out. The role had been played by Rajatavo Dutta. From that time whenever he told his wishes Rajatavo made the difference and Saswata became rich. Rupa Bhattacharya played the role of a private secretary of Saswata Chatterjee. She did not like him when he was a middle class person. But when he became rich she fell in love with him. The music of the film had been composed by Raja Narayan Deb. He had given good music in the film. Sanjoy Biswas played the role of a comedian in the film. All these characters were invited by Sourav Ganguly in the show. Sourav told Saswata Chatterjee that he saw the film Kahaani 3 times to understand the story. But Kahaani had been a brilliant film of Sujoy Ghosh, due to brilliant acting of Vidya Balan, it was also due to brilliant acting Saswata Chatterjee. His character of serial killer Bob Biswas had been liked by people of different parts of the country. Sanjoy Biswas made Sourav laugh by saying his wife always suspected that he had affairs with other women. So after the program he had to go to Nandan and stay there for the night. At the end of the show Rupa Bhattacharya answered the maximum number of questions and became the champion of the program.

Rachana Banerjee. Singer Kumar Shanu and actress Rachana Banerjee rocked the last show of Zee Bangla Mirakkel 6 Program on Sunday, 15th July, 2012. The program ran for more than 1 year and so celebrations went on for the success of the program. Both Kumar Shanu and Rachana Banerjee became the guest judges on Sunday along with the regular judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra. The performers from India and Bangladesh performed for the last time in Zee Bangla Mirakkel 6 Program. From Monday Zee Bangla Saregamapa program will replace Mirakkel 6 program. Apurbo Roy played the character of Bhishma in the show. He acted in his patent style and said kill me, because the arrows were painful on his body. Kumar Shanu was amazed at this performance. Right from Abu Henna Ronnie, to Sangeet Tiwary, to Partho, to Fatik Purkayet all performed well, and was very nostalgic about the success of the Zee Bangla Mirakkel 6 program. Palash Adhikari did his ventroliquism with respect of Rabindranath Tagore’s story Kabuliwala. Even the mentors Dr. Krishnendu, Subhadeep and others all performed and started crying at the end of the program, as the program would happen for the time. Everyone worked like a family and as a team. Mir Afsar Ali sang the song “eso boss” and “awesomesala” with Rajatavo Dutta at the end of the show. Everyone ate a cake to be the testimony of success of Zee Bangla Mirakkel 6 program. Viewers will miss the Zee Bangla Mirakkel 6 program for sometime.

Bengali actress Indrani Halder stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Awesomesala Program on 3^rd July, 2012. She came to the program as guest judge.

She appreciated the performance of Fatik Purokayet (Maduli). She also danced with Maduli in the song “maduli” sung by Mir. When Mir asked her about her experience of acting in TV serials in Mumbai, she replied that she was very happy working in Mumbai. There is a lot of hard work to be done in Mumbai. She worked for twelve hours in a day. She stayed in Andheri and travelled to the studio for her performance. A lot of honour and recognition is given to bengalies who work in Mumbai in every field including music, acting, direction, etc.

She liked the performance of Sangeet Tiwary. Mir told everyone that Indrani Halder was known in Bengal with her nickname Mamoni. She said she loved working with the other judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra in the past. She gave a kiss to Sajal for his performance in the program and danced with him.

She appreciated the performance of Apurvo Roy who played the character of Antenna in a house in Kolkata. She felt nostalgic. She said 25 years ago, there was one Bengali channel which was popular called DD Bangla. She came to limelight by playing a role in the serial Tero Parbon directed by Jochon Dastidar. In those days Cable Channels and Dish Channels were not there. All the performances of noted actors and actresses were reached to every house of Bengal through TV Antenna.

Satabdi Roy MP Satabdi Roy stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 30th April, 2012. She had been a successful Bengali actress of Bengali films of 1980s and 1990s. When Mir Afsar Ali asked what had been the transformation of Bengali films during her times, that is the 80s and Bengali film today. She said the producers had started spending a lot of money in Bengali films. It did not happen during her time. At that time films were shot in Phalta and other locations close to Kolkata. If there used to be an outdoor shooting which was very far, then the shooting used to take place in Siliguri. These days are shot in Paris, Rome, Athens, etc., so the films of Jeet and Dev are expensive films which are shot in foreign countries. There had been lot of development in Bengali films. Satabdi Roy read out a poetry of her own. She had been writing poetry for the last 20 years which are published in many places. She recited the poetry based on the life of a girl in Bengal. The performers Sangeet Tiwary, Palash Adhikari, Abu Henna Ronnie and others played their characters very well. Mir asked Satabdi Roy to bring Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in his show. Inspite of the busy schedule of Satabdi Roy she said she watched Mirakkel whenever she had to go to New Delhi. She could recognize the participants and told everyone about their speciality. She also said that judge Rajatavo Dutta was her first hero in Bengali films.

Bratati Banerjee Bratati Banerjee stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 28th March, 2012 with her poetry and recitation. She was invited as guest judge in the program along with the judges Paran Banerjee, Srilekha Mitra and Rajatavo Dutta. Mir Afsar Ali asked Bratati Banerjee do the children come to her to learn professionally how to do recitation. He also asked that the urge of learning the language was it due to interest of performing of TV channels. Bratati Banerjee said that was the consideration of one section of the students of Bengal. The majority of parents in Bengal had sent their children to Bratati Banerjee because due to dominance of English medium schools in Bengal, the children are not learning their native language Bengali which they should learn. The performers in the program did a great job in the program. Fatik Purokayet (Maduli) told his jokes. The one that he devoted to Srilekha Mitra was not liked by Srilekha Mitra at all. He said that 50% of women have very little intelligence. Bratati Banerjee also said that for the purpose of joke it was fine but she never agreed with the statement. Palash Adhikari did a great job with his two puppets. He always had shown that stories can be told with 3 voices, one of was his own voice, where as the other two voices are the voices of himself made to suit the puppets. Vicky and Partho were excellent. They recreated the court scene of Kamalakanto, a scene which was written in the novel of Sahitya Samrat Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. Vicky played the role of the lawyer while Partho played the role of the client who was examined in the Court of law. Rajatavo Dutta stood up to give standing obsession to the performers. Bratati Banerjee was moved to hear their performance. Mir Afsar Ali anchored the program in style.

Raghab Chatterjee had been invited to be the guest judge in Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program. He had achieved a lot at a very early age. Raghab Chatterjee had successful albums released in the last 10 years including Bhorer Alo, Tumi Nei Bole, Amar Akash, Shamiana, etc. He had sung songs in successful bollywood films like Parineeta, Raincoat, Tere Naam, Devdas, etc. He glorified Bengali films with his successful songs in Patalghor, Subhadrishti, Bandan, Chaturanga, to name a few. Mir Afsar Ali asked him about his experience in singing in stage shows in India and abroad. In reply Raghab Chatterjee said that whenever he had sung in stage shows in India, people generally considered him a close person and a good singer. When he did shows in USA, Hongkong and other countries, there was a different experience. Indians and especially bengalies thought he had been a relative of eminent classical singer Manobendra Mukherjee or Dhananjoy Bhattacharya who glorified Bengali classical songs during the golden age that is 50s and 60s. Raghab Chatterjee a lot of classical touch, so the Indians abroad used to thing unless he had music in his genes it was not possible to sing with classical touch in these days when classical singers had got outdated. Raghab Chatterjee appreciated all the performers in the program including Sangeet Tiwary, Palash Adhikari, Fatik Purokayet (Maduli) and others. The other judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra appreciated Raghab Chatterjee’s singing in the show.

Abir Chatterjee in Abar Byomkesh. Popular Bengali actor Abir Chatterjee stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 20th March, 2012. He came as guest judge in the program. All the judges in the program including Srilekha Mitra, Paran Banerjee and Rajatavo Dutta welcomed him in the Program. Mir Afsar Ali asked him questions about his newly released film Abar Byomkesh. Abir Chatterjee played the role of Byomkesh in the film. Byomkesh is a very popular detective character created by Saradindu Banerjee which is liked by bengalies a lot. Oscar winning director Satyajit Ray made his film Chiriakhana with Uttam Kumar using the character Byomkesh Bakshi. Abir Chatterjee said Anjan Dutta had directed the film and he had done a great job. Abir Chatterjee had been busy with his job in Kolkata and along with that he had acted in the films. So it had been a tiring job. In recent times Abir Chatterjee had gained popularity by playing the role of the husband of Vidya Balan in the super hit film Kahaani. The film had created sensation all over India. Although Abir Chatterjee had very small role to play his presence opposite brilliant actress Vidya Balan created attention. Abir Chatterjee appreciated all the performers in Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program including Palash Adhikari, Apurbo Roy, Vicky Partho, Sangeet Tiwary, etc.

The day was famous from the history of Bhasha Andolan and in 1952 on 21st February, 2012, the day was declared as Bhasha Dibas. Mir Afsar Ali welcomed Firdaus in the show. Apurbo Roy played the character of a toffee seller. He displayed the agony and pains of a toffee seller who show his skills in selling the toffees and chocolates in buses, trains and other places. Firdaus was very impressed with the performance of Apurbo Roy. Palash Adhikari showed his skills with the puppets before Firdaus. He was highly impressed. Mohammad Zamil Hussain showed his performance in respect of sign language showing the curve of life. Human beings are born then get married, then beget children and after fulfilling the responsibilities of life die at old age. All the judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta, Srilekha Mitra and Firdaus were highly impressed with the performance of Mohammad Zahil Hussain. Firdaus disclosed the truth that in the Bengali industry Srilekha Mitra helped him to act in films. A number of films were made where both of them acted together. He talked about the unity of bengalies both in West Bengal and Bangladesh.

Dolon Roy stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program. Bengali film actress Dolon Roy stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program held on 15th February, 2012. She acted in many impressive roles in landmark Bengali films including “Kakababu Here Gelen”. After a long time, Srilekha Mitra returned back as judge in the program. Paran Banerjee and Rajatavo Dutta were the other judges who were there previously. Istiaq Nasir performed well in the program. He talked about the relationship of students before joining college. Dolon Roy was very impressed. Fatik Purokayet (Maduli) did well during his part. Whenever he talked about witty stories relating to women, he got negative comments from Srilekha Mitra. Vicky and Partho did well once again. This time they spoke about a joke related to two neighbours. They were staying in two parts of houses adjacent to one another. Due to the closeness the son of one neighbour had affair with the daughter of the other affair. A plain story was given adequate expression by very strong performances. Palash Adhikari was excellent with his two puppets, one representing Dhritarashtra in Mahabharata, while the other representing Gandhari. When Gandhari was asked why was all the sons of Dhritarashtra wicked in nature, Gandhari said they became so because both Dhritarashtra and Gandhari were blind and they could not keep them within their eyes. His performance was par excellence. Dolon Roy was spellbound at each of the performances including the one of Apurbo Roy in the show.

Rajatavo Dutta. Successful serial personalities Rashi and Ujjal stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 7th February, 2012. Actress Geetasri Roy had successfully acted in the Zee Bangla serial Raashi. Every viewer of Zee Bangla Channel knows Geetasri Roy with the name Raashi. His husband’s role is played by Ujjal. He also came to Zee Bangla Mirakel Program as guest judges. On 7th February, again Srilekha Mitra did not come. But Paran Banerjee and Rajatavo Dutta were present. Mir Afsar Ali played the role of an astrologer. Among the performers Mohammad Zamil played the role of a village commentrator. He did a great job with Bangladeshi accent. Vicky and Partho played the role of carate trainers. Always they did something new and innovative. After their performance was over Mir showed the clipping of martial art from the film Enter the Dragon where Bruce Lee killed his prey in style. Fatik Purokayet played his part very well. On Tuesday his wife Dola was brought in the show. Both of them danced with Mir in the song “maduli, bhul gaya sabkuch yaad nahi abkuch mere dil me hai july, maduli”. Sangeet Tiwary and Apurbo Roy were excellent again in their performances. Raashi and Ujjal both appreciated the performances of the all the performers. Mir asked whether Ujjal has girlfriends. Raashi said everyday he walks with a new girlfriend. Ujjal laughed at Raashi. Mir anchored the program in style.

Singer Pata of Cactus stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program. Singer Pata of Cactus stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 31st January, 2012. He had been the lead singer of Cactus Band for a long time. Mir Afsar Ali welcomed him to Mirakkel Program. Participant Apurbo Roy played the role of a carpenter. He was again star of the show. All the judges including Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta, Srilekha Mitra and guest judge Pata appreciated his great effort. Due to excellence of Mir Afsar Ali, the program got extension after extension and just continuing for more than 6 months.

Singer Pata, Cactus. Fatik Purokayet (Maduli) also did a great job. Mir again sang for him the trademark song “maduli, bhul gaya sabkuch, yaad nahi aabkuch, mere dil me hai July, maduli”. Vicky and Partho played their part very well. Vicky played the role of the anchor of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Once he imitated Shahrukh Khan, once he imitated Amitabh Bacchan. Sangeet Tiwary played his part also in an excellent way. Pata appreciated all the participants.

Tanima Sen. Comedy star Tanima Sen stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program. She had acted in many Bengali films and Bengali serials. She had great understanding with actor Paran Banerjee. Mir Afsar Ali mentioned that Zee Mirakkel Program in Zee Bangla Channel got an extention. The finale will be held in March, 2012. After that new contestants will be competing against the champions. The auditions will be held on 29th January in Kolkata. Vicky and Partho played the role of father of bride and member of band party. They did a great job. Fatik Purokayet (Maduli) told his jokes. Judge Srilekha Mitra got little annoyed saying most of his jokes were women-centric, which was unnecessary. Tanima Sen, the guest judge, said, there was nothing wrong. Everyone came to laugh and Fatik made them laugh. Sangeet Tiwary and Palash Adhikari did a great job. Tanima Sen told about her understanding with Paran Banerjee in plays and films. Apurbo Roy imitated Tarzan and was again praised by Rajatavo Dutta, Srilekha Mitra and Paran Banerjee. Mir anchored the program very well.

Superstar Subhashree rocked Zee Bangla Mirakkel program. She was called by Mir Afsar Ali on 28^th December, 2011. She had acted in many successful films opposite Bengali superstar Deb.

Mir asked her to laugh and it was seen whenever any comedy item was presented she could not control her laughter. Fatik Purokayet, Istiaq Nasir and Palash Adhikari all performed together in the show. The judges Rajatavo Dutta, Srilekha Mitra and Paran Banerjee all appreciated them.

Sangeet Tiwary, Vicky and Partho were the other performers. Vicky and Partho acted with a new subject once again. Sangeet Tiwary was elegant in his presentation.

The best performer of the day was again Apurbo Roy. He came as a pick-pocket and told a story related to the struggle of a pick-pocket in becoming successful in different bused in Bengal. Subhashree was amazed at his performance.

Subhashree was asked why did she stopped acting for 2 years. She said she was looking for better story and better role. She made a comeback opposite Dev in the film Romeo. Presently she is also acting opposite Dev in the film Khokababu.

Legendary singer and composer Bappi Lahiri rocked Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 20^th December, 2011. He was the star of the show and the anchor Mir Afsar Ali gave him lot of love and respect.

Bappi Lahiri sang the song “ooh lala ooh lala” from the film Dirty Picture, which had been sung by Bappi Lahiri and Shreya Ghoshal. Everyone cheered at the song, as the song and the film both are doing excellent business.

Bappi Lahiri said that the compositions of the 80s were so popular that they are still sung today in cyclic order. He also sang the song “ek aankh marun to parda phat jaye”, which he was composed by him. He said even the song “yaad aa raha hai” from the film Disco Dancer, in 1982, had been used in the film Golmaal 3.

June Malia, Rajatavo Dutta, Mithu Chakravarty, Subhashis Mukherjee, Sudipa Mukherjee and Rimjhim rocked Mithun Chakravarty’s Dadagiri Program on Zee Bangla Channel on 15^th December, 2011. Mithu Chakravarty, the wife of Sabyasachi Chakravarty was asked question relating to forest in Jalpaiguri, as Sabyasachi Chakravarty was a serious wildlife photographer.

Rajatavo Dutta mentioned that Mithun Chakravarty was an excellent cook. He went for shooting with Mithun Chakravarty in Mysore hotel, which was possessed by Mithun Chakravarty, where he had cooked Chinese, Continental and Indian dishes for Rajatavo Dutta, Rachana Banerjee and other Bengali actors.

Sudipa Mukherjee sang the song “pyar kabhi kam nahi karna” for Mithun Chakravarty and said that she had seen the film Prem Pratigya 18 times due to the brilliance of Mithun Chakravarty. Rajatavo Dutta said that Subhashis Mukherjee, who was later known as a comedian, was the best actor ever to play the role of Jayasingha in Rabindranath Tagore’s play Bisorjon which was a serious role.

In the Quick or Quack, Sudipa Mukherjee answered maximum number of answers. Mithun Chakravarty said he was neither bangal or ghati but BATI meaning Bengali and Truly Indian. Mithun Chakravarty was excellent in anchoring the program with the celebrities.

Kumar Shanu, Surojit Banerjee and singer Silajit rocked Mirakkel program on 3 days.

During the last 3 days, Mir Afsar Ali, called the singers Kumar Shanu, Surojit Banerjee and Silajit on 3 separate shows of Mirakkel program in Zee Bangla Channel. Singer Shilajit confessed that the first interview that he ever gave was an interview before Mir Afsar Ali.

Surojit Banerjee of famous Bhumi Band, had disclosed the fact that very recently Mir Afsar Ali had sung a song under his composition. The judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta, and Srilekha Mitra were very delighted because everyone knew that Mir used to sing very well.

Surojit Banerjee was also very impressed with the performance of Apurbo Roy who performed a role of football coach. He gave a social message, that entry of foreign players in Bengal circuit had reduced the motivation of local Bengali footballers who also require patronage.

Kumar Shanu told the truth that he was given the first chance by eminent ghazal singer Jagjit Singh. When Kumar Shanu used to sing in hotels in Mumbai, Jagjit Singh took him to Kalyanji Anandji’s studio and made him record his song. As Jagjit Singh died very recently, Shanu said that he would never forget the contribution of Jagjit Singh in his life.

Kumar Shanu also disclosed the story of his recording of 28 songs on one day. He was going abroad in relation to musical cause. He called up all the composers in one studio and asked them to bring them and he went one recording one after the other. He sang the song “do dil mil rahe hai”, “sason ki zarurat hai jaise”, etc.

Radio artist Jagannath Bose and Urmimala Bose had glorified Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 8th November, 2011. Both of them had been announcers, hosts, actors and actresses of plays and srutinatak in All India Radio, Kolkata for more than 40 years.

Mir Afsar Ali, the host of the program Mirakkel asked Jagannath Bose how was it possible for him to everyday conduct radio programs in All India Radio Kolkata between 5 am to 7 am, even on Sundays. He had to wake up so early all around the year. He asked Jagannath Bose and Urmimala Bose to do a small strutinatak before the audience. They did it in style.

Paran Banerjee also sang a song composed in the early 40s, to show the culture of Bengal during pre-independence period. The performers did their best before Jagannath Bose, Urmimala Bose, Srilekha Mitra, Rajatavo Dutta and Paran Banerjee.

Fatik Purokayet was excellent in his performance. Urmimala Bose said that he was her distant relative and had the occasion of tasting a mutton dish cooked by Fatik Purokayet. Mir always called him Maduli and was amazed at his other talent which was not known to anyone.

Vicky and Partho also did well. Sangeet Tiwari and Qais Khan were elegant in their jokes. Qais Khan never gave great expressions, but in a cool manner delivered intelligent jokes.

The star of the show was again Apurbo Roy. This time he played the role of a politician. He said a lawyer left his profession and became a politician. When he was asked that what was the reason for such change of profession, the lawyer answered that he was required to tell more lies as politician so changed the profession. Abu Henna Ronnie also did well.

Pallabi Mukherjee amazed Sonali Choudhury in Zee Mirakkel Program held in Zee Bangla Channelon 19th November 2011. Mir Afsar Ali anchored the program in front of Rajatavo Dutta, Paran Banerjee and Srilekha Mitra who were the judges of the program.

Sonali Choudhury, famous for playing an important role in Zee Bangla Channel serial Agniparikkha became the guest judge of the program. She had also acted in hit Bengali films like Bye Bye Bangkok. Pallabi Mukherjee one of the participants amazed her. She created a story, where she mentioned that she had gone to act in the serial Agniparikkha in the role of Sonali Choudhury. Although her dialogues were well said, but because of her habit mentioning phrased used in Mirakkel program like “kothae chile ostad” her job was gone. She went for the other serials in Zee Bangla Channel. She also went to Didi No. 1 program, but wherever her phrases used in Mirakkel created debacle. She made everyone laugh with the play.

Palash Adhikari did an excellent job with his ventriloquism, with a puppet monkey and a puppet duck. Apurbo Roy again gave an apurba performance. He played the role of a thief, his father being a politician. He said he went to jail after committing theft, whereas the politicians stole everything after coming out of jail. All the judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra appreciated him.

Fatik Purokayet or Maduli did an excellent job again. Mir Afsar Ali again sang the patent song “maduli, sporshokator bishoyguli keno tui chuli”. Istiaq Nasir was eliminated from the show. He was bald headed, that was the reason everyone associated him with the character Shakal in the film Shaan, where Kulbhushan Karbanda played the role of a bald man. Istiaq had come from Bangladesh and said that he learned a lot in the Mirakkel Program in Zee Bangla Channel. Mridul Bhattacharya, the guest performer performed at the end of the show.

Superstar June Malia had rocked Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 28th September, 2011. She was the guest judge in addition to the other judges Rajatavo Dutta, Srilekha Mitra and Paran Banerjee.
Mir Afsar Ali every week had taken the viewers to a new place , on 28th September, 2011, to Durgapur, in West Bengal.

June Malia had been successful actress of many noted Bengali films like Ek Mutho Chobi, Mondo Meyer Upakhyan, etc. Vicky and Partho was the best performer of the day. They played a skit with Partho being a curd seller of a village. Both the participants had amazed the viewers in the past and did the same on 28th September, 2011.

It was amazing that Raju Middya did not get the maximum votes. He created characters of Durgapuja and mentioned that Paran Banerjee became Lord Shiva, Rajatavo Dutta became Mohishashura, Srilekha Mitra became Goddess Durga, when the Gods themselves went to see the idols in Durgapuja in Kolkata. May be that Raju Middya had created such a high standard that always the judges had expected even more.

Pallabi Mukherjee again did well. She made a skit relating to contesting election. She imitated both Koel Mallick and Rachana Banerjee as usual and did a great job. Sajal created a skit relating to Nightguard and did a great job. June Malia even danced on the song of “awesome sala”. The program was anchored excellently by Mir Afsar Ali.
