Soumitra Banerjee and Sidhu Roy rocked Zee Bangla Banglar Sera Poribar.

Sidhu Roy, Cactus. On 6th September, 2012, Prasenjit Chatterjee invited Soumitra Banerjee and Sidhu Roy in the show Zee Bangla Banglar Sera Poribar. Sidhu’s poribar (family) and Soumitra’ s poribar (family) came in the show. Soumitra Banerjee belonged to the famous band Bhoomi. He had been the lead singer along with many other singers in the team. Bhoomi had been extremely popular in India and abroad. Some of the most popular songs sung by Bhoomi included “barandar roddur, tomar dekha nai re”, “jabi sosurbari”, “najabu nag hare ami maas na dhoira”, “kande shudhu mon keno kande re”, to name a few. In the first round Soumitra Banerjee did the katakuti and won more than 45000 rupees. He answered the puzzles better than Sidhu Roy. Sidhu Roy was brilliant in the second round titled Bong anubad. He spoke about the entire riddle without using English words. He won 5000 rupees in that round. He sang the song “phirbe na” with all his family members. Sidhu Roy had been a popular figure of Bangla Band Cactus. He had been the lead singer along with other singers like Pota Barman. Both Soumitra Banerjee and Sidhu Roy had been called previously in other shows of Zee Bangla namely Dadagiri, Didi No. 1 and Mirakkel program. They did a great job there too. Comedian Apurbo Roy played the character of a repairer and did a small comedy show in the middle of the show. Prasenjit Chatterjee conducted the program very well.

Locket Chatterjee Bengali actress Locket Chatterjee and actor Neel Mukherjee stormed Zee Bangla Banglar Sera Poribar on 16th August, 2012. Prasenjit Chatterjee anchored the program for a long period of time. Prasenjit Chatterjee asked the wife of Neel Mukherjee about the manner in which both of them fell in love. The answer was very funny. She said that when Neel Mukherjee fell in love with her he was a struggler. He has Rs 50 in his pocket. He went to the restaurant with her. There he offered a Dosa. Both Neel and his wife shared the same dosa. Neel finished it from one side while his wife finished it from the other side. Neel laughed at the truth. He said he checked his pocket, whatever money was left to return home was kept aside and the rest of the money was spend on food. Different questions were asked both to the family of Locket Chatterjee and Neel Mukherjee. Locket Chatterjee’s family won more than Rs 50000 in katakuti round. Neel Mukherjee’s family also did well. But in the Bengali translation round none of Locket Chatterjee’s family or Neel Mukherjee’s family could get money as no one finished the game in time. Locket Chatterjee acted in many successful Bengali films in the recent past including Le Halwa Le, Fighter, Uro Chithi, etc. Neel Mukherjee had done well in many recent films like Teen Yaari Katha, Abar Byomkesh, etc. In the middle of the show Apurbo Roy came to do relief acting. He did a great job. Prasenjit Chatterjee anchored the program in style.

Pallabi Mukherjee, Raju Middya, Apurba Roy, Vicky, Partho, Sangeet Tiwary, Qais Khan, Abu Henna Ronnie, Palash Adhikari, Fatik Purokayet, Sajal and others rocked Mithun Chakravarty’s Dadagiri Program in Zee Bangla Program on 19th November, 2011.
Pallabi Mukherjee showed her imitation of Koel Mallick when Mithun Chakravarty asked for it. Raju Middya showed his performance relating to Mahishashur Mordini strotyopath from South Indian Radio Station. He did an excellent job. He also mentioned the dialogue of Mithun Chakravarty “marbo ekhane lash porbe shoshane” in his mahishashur mordini strotyopath.

Sangeet Tiwary did a great job with his comedy performance. Although Mithun Chakravarty asked for performance from all the participants because they had created names of themselves in Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program, the main thrust was on quiz questions.

Very interesting questions were asked by Mithun Chakravarty especially in the googly round.

At the end of the show Vicky Partho got the highest number of points and won the contest. Mithun Chakravarty said that everyone did a great job but Vicky Partho were the best.

Radio artist Jagannath Bose and Urmimala Bose had glorified Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 8th November, 2011. Both of them had been announcers, hosts, actors and actresses of plays and srutinatak in All India Radio, Kolkata for more than 40 years.

Mir Afsar Ali, the host of the program Mirakkel asked Jagannath Bose how was it possible for him to everyday conduct radio programs in All India Radio Kolkata between 5 am to 7 am, even on Sundays. He had to wake up so early all around the year. He asked Jagannath Bose and Urmimala Bose to do a small strutinatak before the audience. They did it in style.

Paran Banerjee also sang a song composed in the early 40s, to show the culture of Bengal during pre-independence period. The performers did their best before Jagannath Bose, Urmimala Bose, Srilekha Mitra, Rajatavo Dutta and Paran Banerjee.

Fatik Purokayet was excellent in his performance. Urmimala Bose said that he was her distant relative and had the occasion of tasting a mutton dish cooked by Fatik Purokayet. Mir always called him Maduli and was amazed at his other talent which was not known to anyone.

Vicky and Partho also did well. Sangeet Tiwari and Qais Khan were elegant in their jokes. Qais Khan never gave great expressions, but in a cool manner delivered intelligent jokes.

The star of the show was again Apurbo Roy. This time he played the role of a politician. He said a lawyer left his profession and became a politician. When he was asked that what was the reason for such change of profession, the lawyer answered that he was required to tell more lies as politician so changed the profession. Abu Henna Ronnie also did well.

Actress Deboleena Dutta came as guest judge in the program along with the other judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra. The participants were excellent on the day of Deepavali.

Apurba Roy played the role of an uneducated guide in Kolkata. His funny English bewildered Deboleena Dutta, Srilekha Mitra, Paran Banerjee and Rajatavo Dutta. Deboleena Dutta said she had not seen a better performance than what Apurba Roy gave. When foreigners came to visit Victoria Memorial in Kolkata, Apurba Roy the guide could not communicate in proper English, when they asked which language he understood, he said body language. He got the prize of Rs 25000 for the best performer and the anchor Mir Afsar Ali gave it to him even before the judges adjudicated him as the best performer.

Pallabi Mukherjee did not give a great performance comparing her previous ones with the present one. Fatik Purokayet (Maduli) again did a great job. After his comedy performance Mir sang “kalipujo bole khulechi botoler chipiguli, maduli” in his usual style.

Vicky and Partho were excellent again. Vicky played the role of a horse, while Partho was a groom. At the end of their performance they gave a message, as dacoits they stole the hearts of the judges and viewers of the program. Mir joked with Deboleena Dutta, saying that he saw Goddess Kali in the body of Deboleena Dutta.

Pallabi Mukherjee amazed Sonali Choudhury in Zee Mirakkel Program held in Zee Bangla Channelon 19th November 2011. Mir Afsar Ali anchored the program in front of Rajatavo Dutta, Paran Banerjee and Srilekha Mitra who were the judges of the program.

Sonali Choudhury, famous for playing an important role in Zee Bangla Channel serial Agniparikkha became the guest judge of the program. She had also acted in hit Bengali films like Bye Bye Bangkok. Pallabi Mukherjee one of the participants amazed her. She created a story, where she mentioned that she had gone to act in the serial Agniparikkha in the role of Sonali Choudhury. Although her dialogues were well said, but because of her habit mentioning phrased used in Mirakkel program like “kothae chile ostad” her job was gone. She went for the other serials in Zee Bangla Channel. She also went to Didi No. 1 program, but wherever her phrases used in Mirakkel created debacle. She made everyone laugh with the play.

Palash Adhikari did an excellent job with his ventriloquism, with a puppet monkey and a puppet duck. Apurbo Roy again gave an apurba performance. He played the role of a thief, his father being a politician. He said he went to jail after committing theft, whereas the politicians stole everything after coming out of jail. All the judges Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra appreciated him.

Fatik Purokayet or Maduli did an excellent job again. Mir Afsar Ali again sang the patent song “maduli, sporshokator bishoyguli keno tui chuli”. Istiaq Nasir was eliminated from the show. He was bald headed, that was the reason everyone associated him with the character Shakal in the film Shaan, where Kulbhushan Karbanda played the role of a bald man. Istiaq had come from Bangladesh and said that he learned a lot in the Mirakkel Program in Zee Bangla Channel. Mridul Bhattacharya, the guest performer performed at the end of the show.
