Soumitra Banerjee and Sidhu Roy rocked Zee Bangla Banglar Sera Poribar.

Sidhu Roy, Cactus. On 6th September, 2012, Prasenjit Chatterjee invited Soumitra Banerjee and Sidhu Roy in the show Zee Bangla Banglar Sera Poribar. Sidhu’s poribar (family) and Soumitra’ s poribar (family) came in the show. Soumitra Banerjee belonged to the famous band Bhoomi. He had been the lead singer along with many other singers in the team. Bhoomi had been extremely popular in India and abroad. Some of the most popular songs sung by Bhoomi included “barandar roddur, tomar dekha nai re”, “jabi sosurbari”, “najabu nag hare ami maas na dhoira”, “kande shudhu mon keno kande re”, to name a few. In the first round Soumitra Banerjee did the katakuti and won more than 45000 rupees. He answered the puzzles better than Sidhu Roy. Sidhu Roy was brilliant in the second round titled Bong anubad. He spoke about the entire riddle without using English words. He won 5000 rupees in that round. He sang the song “phirbe na” with all his family members. Sidhu Roy had been a popular figure of Bangla Band Cactus. He had been the lead singer along with other singers like Pota Barman. Both Soumitra Banerjee and Sidhu Roy had been called previously in other shows of Zee Bangla namely Dadagiri, Didi No. 1 and Mirakkel program. They did a great job there too. Comedian Apurbo Roy played the character of a repairer and did a small comedy show in the middle of the show. Prasenjit Chatterjee conducted the program very well.

Singer Sidhu and actress Locket Chatterjee stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Awesomesala Program. Singer Sidhu and actress Locket Chatterjee stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Awesomesala Program on 16th May, 2012. Both of them came to Zee Bangla Mirakkel Awesomesala Program as guest judges. Locket Chatterjee was asked by Mir that whether she had only one name or what. She said her only name was Locket Chatterjee. Her sister’s name was Mala. So for matching a name with Mala her name was fixed as Locket. She talked about her new Bengali film. She acted with Raima Sen, Nusrat and other actresses. The film is related to the stories of young women in Kolkata. Singer Sidhu sung a song in the film. He sang the song “khunte khunte kha” which he sang in the upcoming film. The performance was excellent. Sidhu had sung excellent songs under the band Cactus. The band had performed very well in the past. Both Sidhu and Locket appreciated the performances of all the performers including Fatik Purokayet (Maduli), Abu Henna Ronnie, Sajal, Sangeet Tiwary, to name a few. Some of the new performers were encouraged by Sidhu and Locket. Sidhu had been the judge of Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program 2 years back. So he knew the dynamics of judging performers in comedy shows. Mir Afsar Ali showed the clippings of the new film of Sidhu and Locket in the show. He wished them best of luck for the upcoming film.

Singer Pata of Cactus stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program. Singer Pata of Cactus stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 31st January, 2012. He had been the lead singer of Cactus Band for a long time. Mir Afsar Ali welcomed him to Mirakkel Program. Participant Apurbo Roy played the role of a carpenter. He was again star of the show. All the judges including Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta, Srilekha Mitra and guest judge Pata appreciated his great effort. Due to excellence of Mir Afsar Ali, the program got extension after extension and just continuing for more than 6 months.

Singer Pata, Cactus. Fatik Purokayet (Maduli) also did a great job. Mir again sang for him the trademark song “maduli, bhul gaya sabkuch, yaad nahi aabkuch, mere dil me hai July, maduli”. Vicky and Partho played their part very well. Vicky played the role of the anchor of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Once he imitated Shahrukh Khan, once he imitated Amitabh Bacchan. Sangeet Tiwary played his part also in an excellent way. Pata appreciated all the participants.
