Reema Sen is one the new actresses of bollywood who had shown her acting capabilities in the recent films. According to the viewers she has a good prospect and had entertained them in the few films where she got significant roles.

She was born in Kolkata in 1981, after some time her family moved to Mumbai. She joined modeling and then films. She performed in Tamil film Minnale, and Telegu film Udai Kiran. She started her career in bollywood film Hum Ho Gaye Aapke.

But she became prominent with her cheerful performance in the film Malamaal Weekly opposite Ritesh Deshmukh. She played the role of the daughter of Om Puri, who had an affair with Ritesh. But Om Puri was not interested to marry his daughter with Ritesh, as he neither had property, nor stability. His father Asrani also failed to pay debts to Om Puri.

But as Paresh Rawal asked Om Puri, to give up his hostility towards Ritesh, and take him in their team who were supposed to share the prize money of lottery ticket, On Puri agreed to marry his daughter with Ritesh. Reema Sen played her role very well, in a serio-comic film. She also delivered her dialogues with a semi-rural intonation as the film was based on the story picturised on rural part of India.

She also performed in a Bengali film titled Iti Srikanto. She gave a guest appearance in a song in the film Aan: Men At Work. She is presently working in the film Chal Chala Chal.

Although she had not made as astonishing start, with her steady box office, she is expected to do even better in the years to come.
