Paresh Rawal – the talented character-artist of bollywood.

Paresh Rawal – the talented character-artist of bollywood.

Paresh Rawal
Paresh Rawal had made himself indispensable in the bollywood film industry by performing in every type of role in the last 15 years. He was very impressive in the film Woh chokri, where she was the father of Palavi Joshi, who became a politician and neglected his wife and daughter. He portrayed extremely unkind characteristic by killing his daughter at the end of the film with his hired killers.

He was impressive in China Gate, as a dishonest police officer, who helped the dacoits operating in that area. He even arrested the retired military personnel including Om Puri, Naseer, Amrish Puri and got beaten up at the end of the film. In the recent years he has revolutionised comedy acting. In Priyadarshan’s films he had been unparallel.

Paresh Rawal
In Malamaal Weekly, he used false teeth and played the role of seller of lottery ticket who came to know that the winner of the lottery had died out of excitement. He asked Om Puri to pretend to be the lottery winner and as the plan became public he had to engage huge number of villagers in his team and ultimately got the money from Arbaaz Khan. The comedy performance in the film involved innocence and simplicity that is exhibited by villagers of different parts of India.

He was sublime in both Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri. In both the films he was associated with Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty, and their acts had implicated him too. In Phir Hera Pheri, he even sold his assets to get his money doubled by a company which practiced fraud. All three of them (Akshay, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal) lost all the assets and had to take unfair means to regain them.

Paresh Rawal
Paresh Rawal also did well in Gupt, as a compassionate father who had taken the guilt of Kajol on himself and confessed it before Om Puri. Ultimately the investigation showed that Kajol had killed the related persons. He also acted well in Nana Patekar’s Krantiveer as a miser who brought up Nana and his own son, and was killed at the end of the film due to evil intentions of Danny and others in the film.

Paresh Rawal had been impressive in Mohra, Sanjay Dutt’s Vijeta, Sunny Deol’s Ghayal. These days viewers are used to seeing him in every alternative film either in a character role, or a villain, or a comedian. He should continue his impressive work in the years to come.

Paresh Rawal had done well in the film Nayak opposite Anil Kapoor. He assisted him during the 24 hours within which Amrish Puri passed an ordinance to allow Anil Kapoor to act as CM. He was very elegant in his performance.

Paresh Rawal even did well in the film Laadla. He gave bogus advise to Prem Chopra which always flopped. In villanish characters also he had shown comedy impulse.
