Review of Bhootnath
Bhootnath is the new film released in 2008, which is related to children. In India very few films are made on subject-matters involving children. Whenever they are made the viewers appreciate them.
In Bhootnath, the director had based the story about a grandfather’s ghost which appears in his grandson. The child is a seven year old innocent character who faces the unnatural happenings in the film.
Amitabh Bacchan played the role of the grandfather of the little child. Juhi Chawla was the mother of the child and Shahrukh Khan was the father. It is directed by Vivek Sharma. The child came to live in his old home with his parents at Nath Villa at Goa.
There he interacts with the ghost whom he called Angel. Both of them became friends in the film. The ghost previously prevented any family from staying in that house. But he ell in love with the child.
Aman Siddiqui, the child artist did very well in the film. Big B, was elegant as usual. Besides he had continued his good work in making his performance suited towards the need of children. Even Juhi Chawla had done well in her own role.
Although the film was based on fantasy, there is prospect of the film in 2008, as the story is new and uncommon.
