Sushmita Sen also had successful combination opposite Salman Khan, Sunil Shetty, Sunny Deol and other leading actors of bollywood. He entered into an affair with the chemistry teacher played by Sushmita Sen in the same college. They were supported by Zayed Khan and Amrita Arora who played the role of other students in the college. Although they did not accept Shahrukh Khan at the beginning, later they came close to each other.
Later the plan of Shahrukh Khan of winning the hearts of the students of the college and maintaining the solidarity of the place got foiled due to efforts of Sunil Shetty and others. The songs in the film became very successful.
Although Sushmita Sen created an image for herself and had been successful opposite other actors too, critics feel that she could had done very well with Shahrukh Khan had the directors gave her scope to act in other films too.
Now that Shahrukh Khan being busy cheering up his team Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL cricket matches and his team maintaining the fourth position in the table, his effort in the cricket field has predominance over films, but viewers expect Shahrukh Khan and Sushmita Sen to perform in more films together in the years to come.
