In the first 2 days it had done business of more than 20 crores. The film had been directed by Sanjay Gupta. It had been a sequel to the film Shootout at Lokhundwala. The film had been produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Sanjay Gupta and Anuradha Gupta. The music had been composed by Anu Malik, Mustafa Zahid, Anand Raj Anand, Nadeem Saifi and Anjaan Meet. The film is based on the literature of Hussain Zaidi titled “Dongri to Dubai.” In the film John Abraham was a law-abiding citizen and good student. But his brother was involved in underworld activities. When he brought Kangana Ranaut to meet his mother, the gangstars attacked his brother, he tried to save him. His brother killed one of the gangstars. The police office instead of framing the charge of section 302 IPC only against his brother, also framed it against him. He got more than 78% marks, but had to get life imprisonment. The police officer was bribed by Ranjit and his anti-social group. John Abraham met Tushar Kapoor in the jail and got training for body building from another prisoner in the jail. He fought against other men in the jail. Mahesh Manjarekhar and other police officers built a team of Sonu Sood and his brother Manoj Bajpai. They killed the underworld gangs whom the police could not kill with their uniform. Anil Kapoor resumed duty in his jurisdiction and started encountering the underworld mafias. John Abraham got out of the jail and initially went to Manoj Bajpai with Tushar Kapoor to work under him. When he raised his voice against Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpai slapped him. From that time, John Abraham built his own “bhai-gang” with Tushar Kapoor and others. Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Ashish Choudhury and Javed Jaffery in Double Dhamaal tried to become rich through the devil’s way. When they were chased for their fraud way, they found Sanjay Dutt with his wife Mallika Sherawat and sister Kangana Ranaut. Sanjay Dutt was no longer a police officer but became a millionaire.

They blackmailed Sanjay Dutt through a MMS to become his partner in business. They found Satish Kaushik an investor who invested in Sanjay Dutt’s company. But when Satish Kaushik found that his investment was in vain, he chased the four persons. They took the help of Zakir Hussain to go to Macau in Hongkong.

They found that Sanjay Dutt was running a Casino named the Four Idiots. Arshad Warsi took the disguise of Ghanta Singh, and the rest took their own disguises. Ritesh Deshmukh married Kangana Ranaut and got him killed by Arshad Warsi according to a plan such that both Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat left Sanjay Dutt. They stole the money from his Casino, but found a video which showed their stealing activity.

They found that Sanjay Dutt and his team had planned everything. Even Satish Kaushik and Zakir Hussain worked according to their plan. When they were chased by Harry Josh, the King of Casino, who wanted his money back, they admitted that Sanjay Dutt did double dhamaal with them but promised to do total dhamaal with him may be in the next film.

The music composed by Anand Raj Anand was also average. Ritu Pathak’s song “jalebi bai” was probably the only popular song, and that too because Mallika Sherawat did an item number.

But the script was not helpful for Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffery, Ritesh Deshmukh and Ashish Choudhury, who had to take too many make ups and do mannerisms to entertain the audience. The film had done business worth 25 crores, but the story was not as hilarious as Dhamaal. The audience expect a better show in the sequel Total Dhamaal.

Anil Kapoor’s new film No Problem which is slated to release on 10th December, 2010, should get a good opening. The film had been directed by Aneez Bazmee. He had directed other super hit films in the past including No Entry. Anil Kapoor deserved a whole-hearted response from the audience because he had been an institution by himself in respect of comedy films. Most of those films did excellent business including Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, Jamai Raja, No Entry. The list can go on. In many terms he had remained a very underrated actor inspite of showing his versatility in every type of role including action based characters, romantic roles and comedy roles. Besides, after Dilip Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar, he had been one of the actors who concentrated more on the depiction of the character rather than the beauty and glamour as done by the majority actors. None of his characters played till now have any similarity. His performance in Tezaab, had no similarity with that of Ishwaar, or that of 1942 – A Love Story.

In No Problem, Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt were bank robbers. While they robbed a bank in a village, the bank officer, namely Paresh Rawal got involved too. Anil Kapoor played the role of investigating officer who had handled many crooks in his life. He got married to Sushmita Sen. She had been the daughter of the Commissioner of Police played by Shakti Kapoor. Sushmita Sen had played the role of a split personality.

On one moment she had been a caring mother and wife. On the other moment she inclined to kill her husband. Anil Kapoor was inclined to chase Sunil Shetty who was alleged to have stolen diamonds. On the other hand, Paresh Rawal searced for Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Khanna to prove his innocence.

Akshay Khanna fell in love with Kangana Ranaut, who was the younger sister of Sushmita Sen. Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt committed a last robbery in a minister’s house. But Sunil Shetty reached the house after both Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt left. He could not find the diamonds and tortured the minister. The rest of the film hovered around the concept of how the investigators caught the crooks.

The performance of Anil Kapoor, SanjayDutt, Paresh Rawal and Akshay Khanna had been excellent. Sushmita Sen was brilliant in the films Maine Pya Kyun Kiya and Do Not Disturb. She did even better in this film. The music had been composed by Sajid Wajid, Pritam Chakravarty and Anand Raj Anand. The songs “no problem” sung by Wajid. Kamaal Khan, and others and “shakira” sung by Hard Kaur and Kalpana had been popular.

The film should do well.

Director Mani Shankar’s film Knock had got a very positive stream of responses. The viewers had accepted the film. The film had been produced by Sohail Maklai. The starcast of the film of Sanjay Dutt, Kangana Ranaut and Irfan Khan had drawn the audience from their houses.

Sanjay Dutt played the role of an assassin in the film. He blackmailed his victim with a sniffle rifle. Kangana Ranaut always had liking relating to assassin heroes. Kangana Ranaut played the role of a journalist in the film. Sanjay Dutt’s prey was Irfan Khan who had committed a number of offences and was compelled to face the magic at gunpoint before Sanjay Dutt.

The film received plagiarism charges in respect of having similarity with the film Phone Booth. Sanjay Dutt called up Irfan Khan in the telephone booth and compelled him to stay there and listen up otherwise he would have shot Rukhsaar. A drug addict was shot and killed by the caller in open street.

Sanjay Dutt and Irfan Khan were brilliant in the film. Gulshan Grover played his role as a corrupted politician in style. Kangana Ranaut acted well in the role of the journalist. The music of the film is mediocre. But the film being a prima-facie action film, so music does not play that important role in the film.

Sanjay Dutt should be happy with the response of the film, because he is going to have a big release coming up that Is Munnabhai Chale America. Viewers should watch the film.

The film opened up with suicidal attempt of Randeep Hooda on the pretext of Mumbai Blasts in 1993. He was annoyed with himself for leaving Imran Hashmi, one of the persons involved in the blasts when he was an ACP.

The story of Ajay Devgan was also unfolded. He was also an outsider to Mumbai at one time. Then his smuggling activities with gold and other things made him a don. But his illegal activities did not stand in the way for his help given to the poor in the area.

Imran Hashmi tried his best to become a notorious figure and also a bigger don than Ajay Devgan. Ajay Devgan had an affair with Kangana Ranaut, a bollywood actress.
