In 7 day Bhoolbhulaiya 3 did business above 150 crores in India and 205 crores worldwide
Bhoolbhulaiya 3 with Kartik Aryanji, Madhuri Dixitji, Vidya Balanji did business of more than 110 crores in India and 40 crores abroad. All 3 of them gave landmark performances. Aneez Bazmi directed the film with comedy and suspense.Ruhan "Rooh Baba" Randhawa is having a great time looting people, claiming to be a Ghostbuster. He is called by Meera's uncle to talk to Meera who is a ghost. When she arrives, Ruhan is petrified into thinking it's a real ghost and this is captured by her uncle on Meera's phone. They blackmail Ruhan threatening to post it online if he refuses to come to Rakht Ghat with them.
With no other choice, Ruhan agrees. When he arrives there, everybody is shocked to see him because he looked exactly likely a doppelganger of the prince, Rajkumar Debendranath of that estate from 200 years ago. The royal family lived in the horse barn, due to Manjulika's existence in the palace.
Rajpurohit warns everyone not to go near Manjulika's room and also suggests that it should be opened only on Durgashtami, and only by a person of the royal family, who has been reborn to get rid of the ghost. Everyone moves to the palace as they believe Ruhan, their savior has arrived.
According to a local myth, 200 years ago, Manjulika was a princess, and the king had a son from his servant, who was named Debendranath. When the King decided to announce Debendranath as his heir, it infuriates Manjulika. She kills Debendranath, and the king decides to burn her alive. It was her spirit that roamed in the palace, and responsible for the many killings.
Meera calls in the restoration department to work on the palace so it can be sold. Mallika leads the department and also shows signs of being possessed.
Ruhan gets to know about the real ghost and plans to leave, but realizes that his video needs to be erased before he leaves. While looking for the video, he finds out that his photos were secretly taken by Meera, suggesting her romantic feelings for him, and when confronted she confirms to it.
Ruhan decides to stay but soon finds that Pandit, Panditaayan and Chhote Pandit are already living in Manjulika's room. It is revealed that all three of them were deliberately trying to shoo everyone away so they could peacefully live there. The restoration department takes over the room and while working there, they end up breaking a wall which leads them to a secret passage. The passage leads to a room which has a door with Bhairava Kavach all over it. The Rajpurohit is also confused and to know more he decides to read more about the palace rooms and Manjulika, so they can work around the situation.
Desperate to sell the property, Rajaji decides to break the Bhairava Kavach with Roooh baba's help and see what's inside. Just when they open the door, the Rajpurohit arrives with the news that the room belonged to Anjulika who was the elder sister of Manjulika and Debendranath. It is revealed that the king 200 years ago had two daughters who despised each other.
Despite knowing about the palace, Mandira arrives at the palace as a prospective buyer and decides to stay there to learn more about the estate and surroundings. After Mandira and Mallika meet, strange things start to happen in the palace. The Rajpurohit warns everyone to be careful until Durgashtmi, as that's the day when Manjulika would take her revenge.
Ruhan and Meera have their fair share of encounters with both Mallika and Mandira, but they are confused about which one is the real Manjulika. Rajpurohit comes back with pure oil from havan to kill the spirit of Manjulika, and the night before Durgashtmi they all gather where the body was burned 200 years ago. Ruhan cleverly gets rid of the spirit that was inside Mallika and Mandira, and then they get to know that the ghost was actually of Debendranath who was burned to death 200 years ago for her love of dance and not liking her male body.
It is revealed that Anjulika and Manjulika had planned to get Debendranath killed for the throne of Rakht Ghat and he was burned to death as soon as both sisters exposed him to the king and his ministers. The king then decided to throw both sisters out of his kingdom. Debendranath's ghost then kills the king and his guards. The Rajpurohit at that time had him sealed in that secret room locking it with the Bhairava Kavach which Ruhan broke and it is revealed it was Debendranath who had been the one who had planned everything by entering Mallika and Mandira's body as they were his sisters' reincarnations.
In the end, all three of them have a heartfelt moment and Debendranath gets the peace he was yearning for, for two centuries.

During shooting, director Anees Bazmee faced significant challenges as he fractured his leg on the last day of the film recce. Against doctor's suggestions to get a steel plate and rest for 3 months, he opted for minor surgery that allowed him to honor his commitment to the film. He came to the film set in a wheelchair and continued with his work.[15][16] The film's production involved extensive planning and coordination, with key members Bhushan Kumar, Bazmee, and Aaryan actively engaged in discussions and preparations.[17]
Filming began in Mumbai, with the first schedule wrapping up on 27 March 2024.[18] During this schedule, the entry sequence of Aaryan was also shot. In early June 2024, the team took a break from shooting, allowing Aaryan to focus on promotional commitments for his film Chandu Champion, which was released on 14 June 2024. The next schedule was kicked off on 1 July 2024, in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh[33][34] with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, and others.[35] Key scenes were shot at various historic landmarks such as Orchha Fort, Ram Raja Mandir, where some dramatic scenes were filmed, and Jahangir Mahal, where Aaryan filmed a romantic song and some romantic scenes with Dimri. Sometime in present-day Himachal Pradesh, Ruhaan Randhawa meets Reet Rathore, who is travelling home for her wedding to Sagar on a bus via Chandigarh. The two cut short their trip to attend a music festival. The bus they were supposed to be on falls into a ditch and all the passengers die. Reet decides to play dead for a while so that Trisha and Sagar can marry instead. Reet and Ruhaan reach Bhawanigarh and hide in the deserted ancestral palace, where the spirit is trapped.
The Thakurs catch Ruhaan in the palace and he convinces them that he is a psychic who was brought there by Reet's spirit. He claims that her spirit wishes to stay in the palace with her family and see her cousin get married. Ruhaan becomes famous in the village as Rooh Baba for his supposed powers and he and Reet fall in love. Anjulika, Reet's sister-in-law, warns Ruhaan to stay away from the locked room where Manjulika is trapped.
Manjulika and Anjulika were identical twins from Kolkata who came to the palace with their father after he got a job there as an accountant. He favoured Anjulika over her sister, leading to a jealous Manjulika seeking refuge in practicing black magic. Manjulika fell in love with Uday Thakur, but Uday chose Anjulika over her. Angered, she resolved to kill her sister after killing their father. Anjulika fatally stabbed Manjulika in self-defense. Since then, her spirit has killed eight members of the family and pushed Uday from the balcony, paralysing him. In 2004, a priest locked her spirit in a room.
One night, Ruhaan and Reet are seen by Chhote Pandit, a priest, which spearheads a search. Knowing it is the one room no one will search, Ruhaan and Reet open Manjulika's room and hide there, freeing the spirit. Anjulika is attacked by Manjulika and discovers Reet is alive. The priest who trapped Manjulika is possessed and kills his disciples before being killed himself. Ruhaan encounters the spirit and she pushes him off the top of a fort.
Ruhaan returns to the palace, now possessed and speaking in Bengali. As the family gathers, they discover that Reet is alive. Reet goes to protect Anjulika from Ruhaan, only to find Anjulika holding a knife to her throat, threatening to kill her. Ruhaan reveals that he was pretending to be possessed to bring out the truth. The spirit is actually Anjulika; Manjulika had been posing as her all these years. Ruhaan discovered the truth after the spirit spared him at the fort and told him to leave. On Anjulika's wedding night, Manjulika had switched places with her using black magic. It was Anjulika who was stabbed when she tried to attack her sister. Uday Thakur had discovered the truth but Manjulika pushed him off the balcony to keep him quiet. She also killed the eight family members because they too had discovered her true identity.
Anjulika's spirit brutally attacks Manjulika and traps her in the same locked room. She has a moment with her family and thanks Ruhaan for revealing her story. Stating that she has unfinished business with her sister, she disappears into the locked room to Manjulika's screams. The family once again leaves the palace.

Ready had done business worth 60 crores.

Ready had done business worth 60 crores.
During the summer of 2011 viewers wondered whether Salman Khan’s film Ready would repeat the magic of Dabaang. After being released in a week it had earned 60 crores. In 2011 this is Salman Khan’s first film to be released. The date of release had been 3rd June, 2011. The expectation of the viewers had increased after Salman Khan had provided 150 crores business to bollywood industry with the film Dabaang last year.
Ready has been directed by director Aneez Bazmee. Asin had been cast opposite Salman Khan in the film. The film had been a remake of Tamil film Ready directed by Sreenu Vaitla in which Ram and Genelia Desouza played notable roles.
The supporting roles had been performed by Arya Babbar, Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Manjrekar and others. Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Kangana Ranaut, Zarine Khan played guest roles in the film. The music had been composed by composer Pritam. Already the song “jhinka chika jhinka” and “humko pyar hua” had been well received by the viewers even before release of the film. The film had been shot in Sri Lanka.
The big challenge the film had to recoup the Rs 55 crores that had been invested. Dabaang had a very unique storyline. The casting also was new. Sonakshi Sinha acted opposite Salman Khan for the first time. Pritam has huge challenge to meet the success of Sajid Wajid in Dabaang. Last year Aneez Baazmee’s film No Problem could not get revenue inspite of star performers like Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt providing successful performances.
The film had been released on 3rd June, 2011. The bollywood industry was desperately waiting for a blockbuster this year. Nothing could haveen be better if Salman Khan came up with one more with Ready. The initial predictions show that Ready will go ahead to do business worth 70 to 80 crores and beat the record of Wanted.
There are a number of reasons for the success of the film. Salman Khan’s acting was excellent. Aneez Bazmee’s message in the film had also been well received that families should live together. The two uncles in the film who were at war in the film were united by Salman Khan. Paresh Rawal’s comedy timing was unparallel once again.
The way Salman Khan is giving blockbuster after blockbuster, he will be considered the new ruler of bollywood films. Viewers should watch the film.

No Problem should get a good opening.

No Problem should get a good opening.
Anil Kapoor’s new film No Problem which is slated to release on 10th December, 2010, should get a good opening. The film had been directed by Aneez Bazmee. He had directed other super hit films in the past including No Entry. Anil Kapoor deserved a whole-hearted response from the audience because he had been an institution by himself in respect of comedy films. Most of those films did excellent business including Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, Jamai Raja, No Entry. The list can go on. In many terms he had remained a very underrated actor inspite of showing his versatility in every type of role including action based characters, romantic roles and comedy roles. Besides, after Dilip Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar, he had been one of the actors who concentrated more on the depiction of the character rather than the beauty and glamour as done by the majority actors. None of his characters played till now have any similarity. His performance in Tezaab, had no similarity with that of Ishwaar, or that of 1942 – A Love Story.
In No Problem, Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt were bank robbers. While they robbed a bank in a village, the bank officer, namely Paresh Rawal got involved too. Anil Kapoor played the role of investigating officer who had handled many crooks in his life. He got married to Sushmita Sen. She had been the daughter of the Commissioner of Police played by Shakti Kapoor. Sushmita Sen had played the role of a split personality.
On one moment she had been a caring mother and wife. On the other moment she inclined to kill her husband. Anil Kapoor was inclined to chase Sunil Shetty who was alleged to have stolen diamonds. On the other hand, Paresh Rawal searced for Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Khanna to prove his innocence.
Akshay Khanna fell in love with Kangana Ranaut, who was the younger sister of Sushmita Sen. Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt committed a last robbery in a minister’s house. But Sunil Shetty reached the house after both Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt left. He could not find the diamonds and tortured the minister. The rest of the film hovered around the concept of how the investigators caught the crooks.
The performance of Anil Kapoor, SanjayDutt, Paresh Rawal and Akshay Khanna had been excellent. Sushmita Sen was brilliant in the films Maine Pya Kyun Kiya and Do Not Disturb. She did even better in this film. The music had been composed by Sajid Wajid, Pritam Chakravarty and Anand Raj Anand. The songs “no problem” sung by Wajid. Kamaal Khan, and others and “shakira” sung by Hard Kaur and Kalpana had been popular.
The film should do well.
