Happy birthday to Padmashree Sonu Nigamji
Happy birthday to Sonu Nigam.
The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to popular Singer Sonu Nigam on 30th July, 2026. He received padmashree last year in 2023. In 2013, Sonu Nigam won the best singer award in Zee Cine Awards 2013. The award was given for his famous song “abhi mujh me kahin” sung in the film Agneepath. He won the Mirchi award and Toifa award also for the same song. His mother came in the Indian idol show on 30th July, 2011, and Sonu Nigam showed his respect for the mother on his birthday. He dedicated a song to his idol Mohammad Rafi who had died on 31st July, 1980.
Sonu Nigam in a recent interview given in Anandabazar Patrika and published on 23rd July, 2011, had said that the Indian composers these days hardly call him to sing songs. If there is truth in the statement it is very sad. He said that although he had sung songs in the international platform along with Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine Jackson, he had very few songs in the year 2011. He said that many composers are singing the songs in bollywood films themselves. He did not point his finger at Shankar Mahadevan, as he agreed himself that Shankar, the composer of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy combination, had learned Karnatic classical and always had sung well. But those composers who did not have that amount of trained voice, for singing in shows are rarely using the veteran singers. He said that it is a blessing that there are very few female composers in the industry, otherwise the domination of Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chouhan and others would have got shaken up.
In 2010, he had his romantic voice felt in the film Milenge Milenge, where his song picturized on Shahid Kapoor was well accepted by the viewers. He was also brilliant in the song “tu ne to pal bhar me chori kiya re jiya” along with Shreya Ghoshal in the film Dabaang, composed by Sajid Wajid.
Sonu Nigam had brilliant combination a number of leading composers of bollywood over the last 10 years. Sonu Nigam was associated with Anu Malik as some of his best romantic numbers were composed by him including “hume jab se mohabbat ho gayi hai”, in the film Border, or “sau dard hai” in the film Jaaneman. He was also associated with Sajid Wajid, as most of his romantic numbers like “tumko bhula na payega” from the film Tumko Bhula Na Payenge, or “mujhse shaadi karogi” in the film Mujshe Shaadi Karoge. In 2010, both of them featured together in the film Veer. Although the film did moderate business, the songs became hits.
But Sonu Nigam sang very landmark songs under the composition of Shantanu Moitra in critically acclaimed films. The films included Parineeta, Lage Raho Munnabhai, The Three Idiots, etc. Parineeta was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and was probably the first launching pad of actress Vidya Balan. Sonu Nigam’s duet song with Shreya Ghoshal namely “piyu bole piya bole” composed by Shantanu Moitra maintained the flavor of Rabindrasangeet with a background of Kolkata during the time of writer Sarat Chandra Chatterji. Also the song “yeh hawaye gungunaye” was equally impressive.
In the film Lage Raho Munnabhai, Shantanu Moitra, maintained both the bhai-like mastani flavor as well as the soft romantic mood. Sonu Nigam’s song “pal pal pal pal pal pal har pal” was probably the most romantic song of the film. The other songs like “lage raho munnabhai” did bear a different andaz. If the acting of Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Vidya Balan was impressive, the music was equally instrumental in the success of the film.
The Three Idiots had shown the loopholes of India’s higher education system. The songs composed by Shantanu Moitra had the message of the director Raj Kumar Hirani. Sonu Nigam and others in the film sung the theme song “all is well” a number of times in the film. The other song “zubi zubi” sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal was also very fast and melodious. If the acting of Amir Khan, R. Mahadevan and Sharman Joshi had impressed the viewers, the music had made them spellbound.
The audience expect Sonu Nigam to provide more number of romantic numbers in future, even in films made under any other banner in addition to the banner of Vidhu Vinod Chopra or direction of Raj Kumar Hirani.

In 7 day Bhoolbhulaiya 3 did business above 150 crores in India and 205 crores worldwide
Bhoolbhulaiya 3 with Kartik Aryanji, Madhuri Dixitji, Vidya Balanji did business of more than 110 crores in India and 40 crores abroad. All 3 of them gave landmark performances. Aneez Bazmi directed the film with comedy and suspense.Ruhan "Rooh Baba" Randhawa is having a great time looting people, claiming to be a Ghostbuster. He is called by Meera's uncle to talk to Meera who is a ghost. When she arrives, Ruhan is petrified into thinking it's a real ghost and this is captured by her uncle on Meera's phone. They blackmail Ruhan threatening to post it online if he refuses to come to Rakht Ghat with them.
With no other choice, Ruhan agrees. When he arrives there, everybody is shocked to see him because he looked exactly likely a doppelganger of the prince, Rajkumar Debendranath of that estate from 200 years ago. The royal family lived in the horse barn, due to Manjulika's existence in the palace.
Rajpurohit warns everyone not to go near Manjulika's room and also suggests that it should be opened only on Durgashtami, and only by a person of the royal family, who has been reborn to get rid of the ghost. Everyone moves to the palace as they believe Ruhan, their savior has arrived.
According to a local myth, 200 years ago, Manjulika was a princess, and the king had a son from his servant, who was named Debendranath. When the King decided to announce Debendranath as his heir, it infuriates Manjulika. She kills Debendranath, and the king decides to burn her alive. It was her spirit that roamed in the palace, and responsible for the many killings.
Meera calls in the restoration department to work on the palace so it can be sold. Mallika leads the department and also shows signs of being possessed.
Ruhan gets to know about the real ghost and plans to leave, but realizes that his video needs to be erased before he leaves. While looking for the video, he finds out that his photos were secretly taken by Meera, suggesting her romantic feelings for him, and when confronted she confirms to it.
Ruhan decides to stay but soon finds that Pandit, Panditaayan and Chhote Pandit are already living in Manjulika's room. It is revealed that all three of them were deliberately trying to shoo everyone away so they could peacefully live there. The restoration department takes over the room and while working there, they end up breaking a wall which leads them to a secret passage. The passage leads to a room which has a door with Bhairava Kavach all over it. The Rajpurohit is also confused and to know more he decides to read more about the palace rooms and Manjulika, so they can work around the situation.
Desperate to sell the property, Rajaji decides to break the Bhairava Kavach with Roooh baba's help and see what's inside. Just when they open the door, the Rajpurohit arrives with the news that the room belonged to Anjulika who was the elder sister of Manjulika and Debendranath. It is revealed that the king 200 years ago had two daughters who despised each other.
Despite knowing about the palace, Mandira arrives at the palace as a prospective buyer and decides to stay there to learn more about the estate and surroundings. After Mandira and Mallika meet, strange things start to happen in the palace. The Rajpurohit warns everyone to be careful until Durgashtmi, as that's the day when Manjulika would take her revenge.
Ruhan and Meera have their fair share of encounters with both Mallika and Mandira, but they are confused about which one is the real Manjulika. Rajpurohit comes back with pure oil from havan to kill the spirit of Manjulika, and the night before Durgashtmi they all gather where the body was burned 200 years ago. Ruhan cleverly gets rid of the spirit that was inside Mallika and Mandira, and then they get to know that the ghost was actually of Debendranath who was burned to death 200 years ago for her love of dance and not liking her male body.
It is revealed that Anjulika and Manjulika had planned to get Debendranath killed for the throne of Rakht Ghat and he was burned to death as soon as both sisters exposed him to the king and his ministers. The king then decided to throw both sisters out of his kingdom. Debendranath's ghost then kills the king and his guards. The Rajpurohit at that time had him sealed in that secret room locking it with the Bhairava Kavach which Ruhan broke and it is revealed it was Debendranath who had been the one who had planned everything by entering Mallika and Mandira's body as they were his sisters' reincarnations.
In the end, all three of them have a heartfelt moment and Debendranath gets the peace he was yearning for, for two centuries.

Rajpal Yadav, known for his role as Chhota Pandit in the previous films, will also return to reprise his role. The cast also features Vijay Raaz, Rajesh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar.[10][11]
Filming
On 9 March 2024, in Mumbai, the cast and crew of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 gathered for an inaugural muhurat puja ceremony to mark the beginning of principal photography. Producer Bhushan Kumar clapped the muhurat shot for Kartik Aaryan. Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, Rajesh Sharma, and co-producer Shiv Chanana were also present at the ceremony.[12][13] A glimpse video of this ceremony was shared by T-Series on 11 March 2024, titled "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Begins", The video also featured Aaryan shooting the first shot of the movie, which was a train sequence, filmed by DOP Manu Anand.[14]
During shooting, director Anees Bazmee faced significant challenges as he fractured his leg on the last day of the film recce. Against doctor's suggestions to get a steel plate and rest for 3 months, he opted for minor surgery that allowed him to honor his commitment to the film. He came to the film set in a wheelchair and continued with his work.[15][16] The film's production involved extensive planning and coordination, with key members Bhushan Kumar, Bazmee, and Aaryan actively engaged in discussions and preparations.[17]
Filming began in Mumbai, with the first schedule wrapping up on 27 March 2024.[18] During this schedule, the entry sequence of Aaryan was also shot. A massive set was erected in Film City, Mumbai, specifically for the song, which involved over a thousand background dancers with choreography done by Ganesh Acharya.[19][20] After a short break, Bazmee, still recovering from his injury, scouted for locations in Kolkata for the next schedule.[21] The cast and crew landed in Kolkata on 8 April 2024, to commence the second schedule.[22] In this schedule, Aaryan rode a bullet on Howrah Bridge,[23] with Prantika Das and with Arun Kushwah at Victoria Memorial.[24][25] The shooting then progressed to Mallick Ghat flower market, where a small set with skeletons was put up.[26] Following this, Bazmee filmed scenes at the Park Street Graveyard and Nonapukur Tram Depot, and finally concluded the shoot at Laha Bari in Central Kolkata.[27] Prior to this, key shots were filmed at an elaborate Bengali village set setup by the production team in Mumbai.[28][29] The song 'Mere Dholna' has been filmed as jugalbandi between Madhuri and Vidya and has been choreographed by Chinni Prakash.[30]
After completing the Kolkata schedule, the team resumed filming on the same Bengali set in Mumbai, with a segment involving Kartik Aaryan, Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, and Ashwini Kalsekar, wrapping up the week-long schedule on 13 May 2024. A significant dance sequence featuring lead actors was also filmed on 21 May 2024.[31] On 29 May 2024; Balan, Dixit, Manish Wadhwa, Sharma, Raaz, Rose Sardana and others shot a sequence on the film's set in Mumbai, with Balan and Dixit twinning in black sarees.[32]
Bazmee had shot Aaryan's scenes in advance, in May 2024, and continued filming without him for some days in early June. In early June 2024, the team took a break from shooting, allowing Aaryan to focus on promotional commitments for his film Chandu Champion, which was released on 14 June 2024. The next schedule was kicked off on 1 July 2024, in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh[33][34] with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, and others.[35] Key scenes were shot at various historic landmarks such as Orchha Fort, Ram Raja Mandir, where some dramatic scenes were filmed, and Jahangir Mahal, where Aaryan filmed a romantic song and some romantic scenes with Dimri. The schedule included filming intense sequences at Kanchana Ghat on the Betwa River.[36]
A part of the climax sequence with all the principal actors together, was also shot there, with Aaryan and other leads performing some action sequences.[37] After shooting a portion of the climax in Orchha, the team returned to Mumbai to shoot the remaining scenes of the climax sequence with the entire cast.[38] Principal photography was seemingly wrapped with final scenes being shot on 31 July and 1 August 2024.[39][40] Additionally in September 2024, a romantic track featuring Aaryan and Dimri was shot in Leh, Ladakh.[41] It was revealed that 2 different climax scene were filmed to keep the suspense around the ending of the film,[42] after Kartik Aryan let slip details of filming scenes with Kiara Advani.[43]

Happy birthday padmashree awardee singer Sonu Nigamji
Happy birthday to Sonu Nigam.
The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to popular Singer Sonu Nigam on 30th July, 2024. He received padmashree last year in 2023. In 2013, Sonu Nigam won the best singer award in Zee Cine Awards 2013. The award was given for his famous song “abhi mujh me kahin” sung in the film Agneepath. Happy birthday to Anu Malik.

Anu Malik, Salman Khan, Kailash Kher.
Happy birthday to Anu Malik.
The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to Anu Malik on 2nd November, 2011. Anu Malik had created his own identity in the field of music composition in bollywood films. He had given hit songs one after the other in the last 10 years. From the time of Baazigar, Anu Malik showed his versatility in making tunes. He was instrumental in many hit films of Salman Khan.
He composed tunes from all the leading singers of bollywood from 1990s till today which includes Sonu Nigam, Kumar Shanu, Udit Narayan to Alka Yagnik, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan and others. His music had catered to the tastes of different sections of viewers and listeners. If his songs in Salman Khan’s film Biwi No. 1 like “chunari chunari” had folk andaz, then the songs in Salman Khan’s film Janeman had western flavor.

He is a big admirer of Sonu Nigam and while participating in the Indian Idol program as a judge he admitted that Sonu Nigam is the best singer of the country. He had given a number of memorable tunes to Sonu Nigam in his illustrious career. In Border, his song “sandese ate hai” and “hume jab se muhobbat ho gayi hai” picturised on Akshay Khanna and sung by Sonu Nigam, received critics acclamation. In Refugee, he gave he very melodious songs like “mere humsafar mere humsafar”, “panchi nadiya pawan ke jhoke”, etc. which were picturised on Abhishek Bacchan and sung by Sonu Nigam. Sonu Nigam’s memorable performance created a different impact on the minds of the viewers of the film.
Even in Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Anu Malik’s composition for Sonu Nigam titled “rabba mere rabba” became superduper hit. Jeetender’s son Tushar Kapoor started his career with the film and Sonu Nigam’s song had given a tremendous break. Anu Malik’s composition for Sonu Nigam in the film Mai Hoon Na, attracted the attention the viewers. The film became hit and the songs were successful. Similarly Anu Malik’s composition of Sonu Nigam’s song “no entry” in the film No Entry picturised on Salman Khan became very very successful.
The combination of Anu Malik and Sonu Nigam had given a number of successful songs of different flavours for the last 10 years and the filmlovers expect the combination to continue their good work and as Sonu Nigam is the role model of new singers in India, he has a lot of responsibility in terms of continuing his brilliant performances.

In 2011, Anu Malik had been extremely busy with reality shows. He adjudicated the final rounds of Zee TV Saregamapa Little Champs where Azmat Hussain became the Champion in September, 2011. Presently along with Alisha Chinoy he is adjudicated Star Ya Rockstar Program in Zee TV. He had been a great mentor and trend setter. The listeners expect Anu Malik to continue the great work that he started long time back.

Udit Narayan was amazing in the X Factor Show.
Udit Narayan was amazing in the X Factor Show in Sony TV.
Veteran singer Udit Narayan had glorified the X Factor Show, by his brilliant singing and presence. Being a great singer who had sung almost 15000 songs in his illustrious career which had spanned over 25 years, he had not shown any pride.
Sonu Nigam showed huge respect for Udit Narayan in the show. He said that there are few voices which glorifed Indian Playback Singing with the sweetness of the voice. If Mohammad Rafi was one of the greatest singers, then after him it was Udit Narayan. The singers of the new generation should learn from Sonu Nigam how to address the other singers. Udit Narayan gave a brilliant reply. He said that when he heard Sonu Nigam in a program in New Delhi in the early days, he understood that when Sonu Nigam came to Mumbai from New Delhi, he would dominate the world of bollywood singing which eventually happened.
The judges Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam and Sanjay Leela Bansali used their veto power to save Seema Jha and Diwana Group who were at the bottom two on the 12th August, 2011. No one was eliminated.
As far as performance on the night, Sajda Sisters were the best with the brilliant song “pal do pal ka saath hamaara” sung by Rafi and Asha Bhosle in the film Burning Train. It was one of the brilliant compositions of RD Burman and difficult to sing. The Sajda Sisters kept the qawalli andaz in the song intact and sang brilliantly. Udit Narayan praised them a lot.

Happy birthday to Sonu Nigam.
The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to popular Singer Sonu Nigam on 30th July, 2011.
Shantanu Moitra had used other upcoming singers like Suraj in the film who had also done a great job in the film. If the acting of Amir Khan, R. Mahadevan and Sharman Joshi had impressed the viewers, the music had made them spellbound.
The audience expect the combination of Sonu Nigam and Shantanu Moitra to provide more number of romantic numbers in future, even in films made under any other banner in addition to the banner of Vidhu Vinod Chopra or direction of Raj Kumar Hirani.
