Salman Khansahab Katrina Kaifji starrer Tiger 3 starts with a bang. With 4 days Tiger 3 has 171 crores in India and 375 crores worldwide. On 1st Day it did 45 crores in India and 75 crores worldwide. Tiger 3 is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. It is a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film is set after the events of War (2019), and Pathaan (2023). Principal photography began in March 2021 with filming taking place in Delhi, Mumbai, Istanbul, Saint Petersburg and Vienna. The film's soundtrack is composed by Pritam while background score is composed by Tanuj Tiku. The film was made at an estimated budget of ₹300 crore, thus making it the most expensive project of Yash Raj Films.[3] Tiger 3 was released on 12 November 2023 in standard, IMAX, 4DX and other premium formats, coinciding with Diwali, where it received mixed to positive reviews from critics with praise for its cast performances (particularly Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi), action sequences and technical aspects, but criticized its plot and pace.[1][5] Plot Avinash "Tiger" Singh Rathore leads a happy family life with his wife, Zoya, and son, Junior. Tiger is called for a mission by the Chief of R&AW, Maithili Menon, to rescue his former handler, Gopi Arya, who was captured while trying to extract information about a dangerous mission being planned by Pakistan. Tiger manages to rescue Gopi and take him back to India. However, he succumbs to the brutal injuries he sustained; before dying, Gopi reveals that Zoya is also a part of the mission, which shocks Tiger, prompting him to start spying on her. Tiger is later assigned on another mission to safeguard a suspect named Jibran Shiekh in Russia. He possess confidential information regarding Pakistan's mission and had escaped to Russia when he and Gopi were exposed. Tiger learns that Zoya has been assigned to assassinate Sheikh, where he manages to save him and confront her. Tiger later gets captured and is taken to Aatish Rehman, an ex-ISI agent. He reveals to Tiger that he had forced Zoya to take the mission by holding Junior[a] hostage. Tiger and Zoya are then forced to leave to Istanbul and steal a briefcase containing PAL codes of a missile. Tiger manages to steal the briefcase with the help of his RAW team and gives it to Zoya. Who in turn hands it to Aatish, who then has Tiger imprisoned in Pakistan. Both Tiger and Zoya are framed as traitors by their respective countries. It is later revealed that Aatish holds a grudge against Tiger and Zoya when they thwarted his plans of killing an Indian Army General to stop the peace treaty between India and Pakistan. Tiger also had unknowingly killed Aatish's pregnant wife and ISI agent, Shaheen Baig. Tiger is later taken to Pakistan and is given the death penalty, but manages to escape with the help of Pathaan. He travels to Islamabad and meets Hassan,[a] who now works as a hacker. Tiger's team, Zoya and her fellow ISI agents, Abrar and Javed, arrive at Istanbul, where they learn about Aatish's plan to assassinate Nasreen Irani, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, in order to become the next Prime Minister. Pakistan Army General Imitaz Haq is also in cahoots with Aatish. Tiger, Zoya and their team secretly enter the PMO, where they reveal about Aatish and Haq's plans to Irani. Tiger and Zoya take Irani to a safe place, upon which, Tiger forces Haq to reveal the truth to the media. However, Aatish secretly kills Haq with the help of Javed, who is later revealed to be Shaheen's brother, and frames Tiger for killing Haq. Abrar and Tiger's teammate, Karan, are also killed by Aatish and Javed. Aatish and Javed arrive to kill Irani at the safe place, but Tiger and Zoya manage to help Irani escape, where Hassan and Javed are killed. Tiger and Aatish engage in hand-to-hand combat, with Tiger killing Aatish. Aatish's crimes are revealed by Irani to the public, and in turn, Tiger, Zoya and their teams are proven innocent. In the aftermath, Tiger and Zoya return to their family life and assures Menon that he will be there to serve his country. In the post-credits scene, Colonel Sunil Luthra calls Major Kabir Dhaliwal and assigns him a mission to assassinate a notorious anonymous person.

Vidya Balan gave the year’s best performance in the film Dirty Picture.

Vishal Shekhar had composed music for the film. The song “ooh lala ooh lala” sung by Bappi Lahiri and Shreya Ghoshal became super hit. The story of Silk Smitha had been played by Vidya Balan. She acted opposite Naseeruddin Shah, who was a renowned actor in the film.

But he exploited her. She loved Tushar Kapoor, the brother of Naseeruddin Shah. He also did not have the guts to marry her. At the end of the film Imran Hashmi, the director who hated her for her erotic performances, fell in love with her.

The film opened up with suicidal attempt of Randeep Hooda on the pretext of Mumbai Blasts in 1993. He was annoyed with himself for leaving Imran Hashmi, one of the persons involved in the blasts when he was an ACP.

The story of Ajay Devgan was also unfolded. He was also an outsider to Mumbai at one time. Then his smuggling activities with gold and other things made him a don. But his illegal activities did not stand in the way for his help given to the poor in the area.

Imran Hashmi tried his best to become a notorious figure and also a bigger don than Ajay Devgan. Ajay Devgan had an affair with Kangana Ranaut, a bollywood actress. Ajay Devgan invested money in the films of Kangana Ranaut. Randip Hooda was trapped by Ajay Devgan for taking bribe and his image was tarnished.

Imran Hashmi had an affair with Prachi Desai. Prachi Desai worked in a jewellery shop. At the end of the film it had been shown that Imran Hashmi had settled abroad and became smuggling don. The police cannot reach him.

The music of the film had been composed by Pritam. There was not much scope of composing romantic songs. The performance of Ajay Devgan, Imran Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Kangana Ranaut had been excellent. But the prospect of the film doing extremely well is very meager, because viewers these days don’t like stories related to underworld. Already it had been shown in the past and films like Deewar and Vaastav had been successful. The film will do moderate business.

These days directors hardly take risks in making films relating to spirits, suspense-thrillers, etc., as the viewers had accepted only comedy films in the last three years. Mohit Suri and Mahesh Bhatt came up with a unique subject in the film Raaz –the mystery continues.

Kangana Ranaut has been shown as an aspiring model who instigated Adhayanan Suman to earn money in any manner whatsoever to fulfill their desires. Adhayanan Suman accepted her proposal and got involved in unfair means to earn money. All of a sudden the soul of any other person got inside Kangana Ranaut and she started behaving abnormally.

Imraan Hashmi, a painter in the film could visualize the future and see what was going to happen to Kangana Ranaut. From his dreams he realized that the source of events were present in the place Kalindi in Himachal Pradesh. He helped Kangana Ranaut and took her to Kalindi.

In Kalindi, a chemical factory used to dump the toxic wastes in the sacred waters of a nearby temple. Jackie Shroff came to know about the fact and informed the respective authorities about it. But the priests and personnel of the factory conspired together to conceal the matter. Jackie Shroff informed about the incident to Adhayanan Suman, who was a media person. He heard it and promised Jackie Shroff that he would publish it soon. Instead of publishing it he disclosed the secret before the temple authorities and factory’s administrators and took huge amount of money as he was instigated by Kangana Ranaut about earning money in any manner whatsoever.

The conspirators killed Jackie Shroff by beating him brutally. His spirit got inside the body of Kangana Ranaut to inform the people about the incident. Jackie Shroff ruined her life to show that she was the root cause of all the incidents. Adhayanan Suman was shown that the path he had used to earn money was totally wrong.
A preaching of social reformer was displaced in the body of Kangana Ranaut which showed that her body was filled with dirt. Although the film started off with the ghostly events but ended with a social concern. The film had done moderate business in the 2 months after its release and will end being hit film.

Producers and directors can make similar type of films in future.
