Sameera Reddy is one of the telegu actresses who had done very well in bollywood films. She also acted in the Bengali film Kalpurush directed by the famous director Buddhadeb Dasgupta.

Ram Gopal Verma gave her a huge break in the film Darna Mana Hai. She was one of the friends who were discussing about their horror experiences. Very innovative stories were depicted and at the end of the stories the supernatural power killed the respective story-tellers. Although all the stories were related to ghosts and spirits they were very entertaining.

Sameera Reddy also did well in the film Musafir, with Anil Kapoor, which was otherwise an action film. She also did well in the film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya opposite Sohail Khan, the brother of Salman Khan, Sohail Khan made his acting debut with this film. Sameera got admitted in the same college in which Sohail had got admitted and entered into an affair. Her father played by Kabir Bedi never like the affair, and at the end of the film they got married against the wishes of the father. The song “sananana” became a big hit.

She also acted in the film Taxi Number 9211 along with Nana Patekar and John Abraham. The film had a unique story with Nana playing the role of a taxi-driver. John had to contest his father’s will in a court of law and required a lift in Nana’s car. From their trouble began and both became staunch enemies of each other. Sameera had an interesting role and she supported the other actors in the film with her decent performance.

She also did well in the film Plan along with Sanjay Dutt, Dino Morea and Priyanka Chopra. She had acted in anumber of telegu films with Chiranjeevi and acted even in bollywood films opposite Chiranjeevi. She is expected to do well in the film Race along with Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna and Anil Kapoor with Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif supporting her. She had been consistent in her performance and the viewers except better performance from her in the years to come.
