Years later, Vijay returns to Delhi after completing his education and attends the engagement of former classmate Geetanjali "Geeta" Iyengar, whom he has always loved. Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra with 250 crores business in India and 140 crores business abroad is heading towards greatest bollywood blockbuster of 2022

Ayan Mukherjee directed a fanstastic film Brahmastra. All the actors Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bacchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and others did fabulous acting. Brahmastra did 250 crore business in 15 days and 140 crores business in foreign markets. It is heading towards greatest bollywood blockbuster of 2022.
In ancient India, a group of sages in the Himalayas collide with the energy Brahm-shakti, which produces many celestial weapons of great power called astras. The strongest among them, the Brahmāstra, carries the capacity to destroy the world. The sages use their respective astras to control the Brahmāstra and become the Brahmānsh, a secret society to protect the world from the powers of astras. In present-day Mumbai, Shiva a disc jockey, falls in love at first sight with Isha Chatterjee, a London resident who is visiting India for the Durga Puja festival at her grandfather's pandal. Soon, Isha reciprocates his feelings for her. Shiva tells her that he is an orphan who never knew his father, and his mother died in an accident when he was a baby. Meanwhile, in Delhi, Mohan Bhargav is attacked by Zor and Raftar for a piece of Brahmāstra he owns. Mohan manages to disguise it inside his Mayāstra before escaping by using the Vanārastra. When he returns to retrieve the piece, he is captured by Junoon, who works for the mysterious Dev. Under Junoon's possession, Mohan reveals that the second piece is protected by an artist and archaeologist named Anish Shetty in Kashi. The third piece is with Guru, the current leader of the Brahmānsh. Before he can reveal the location of Brahmānsh (Āshram), Mohan commits suicide. Shiva sees a vision of Mohan's encounter with Junoon. He and Isha head for Kashi to warn and save Anish but are interrupted by Raftar, who now wields Vānarāstra. Anish defeats him using the Nandiāstra before escaping with Shiva and Isha. While going to Himachal Pradesh, where Āshram is located, they are chased by Junoon and Zor in a truck. Anish gives the second piece of the Brahmāstra to Shiva and stays to fight Junoon and Zor, only to be killed. Shiva and Isha are chased by Raftar to Āshram where Shiva kills him using the Agnyāstra after he tried to kill Isha. At Āshram, they learn about other astras and Shiva is forced to join Brahmānsh by Guru for the information of his parents. He meets other newly recruits Rani, Raveena, Sher and Tensing who are all trained by Guru on how to use their respective astras and Shiva also gains control over fire. As Junoon gets closes to them, Guru reveals that Shiva is the son of former Brahmānsh members, Dev and Amrita. Dev actually awoke the Brahmāstra as he was the only person, who was able to control multiple astrās at once. Amrita (pregnant with Dev's child), who wielded the Jalāstra defeated him in a battle on a remote island and both of them seemingly perished from the battle. Amrita's boat was found in the ruins of the battle, brought back from the island, with two broken pieces of the Brahmāstra. The pieces of the Brahmastra were given to both Mohan and Anish. The third piece was believed to be missing, with Amrita concluding that they both survived. The third piece of the Brahmāstra is in Amrita's Mayāstra disguised into a conch shell which Shiva unknowingly releases it after his blood drops on the conch. Junoon and her army arrive at Āshram for Brahmāstra and hostages everyone. Shiva defeats Junoon while also killing Roz, who wielded Nandi Astra and releases everyone. But Junoon managed to take the third piece from Isha. She seemingly sacrificed herself to activate Brahmāstra. The destruction starts to begin but Shiva gains control over the Brahmāstra with the 'power of love', reuniting with Isha. Before the credits, due to Junoon having activated the Brahmāstra, Dev, who was imprisoned as a statue on an unknown island, is released. Cast Amitabh Bachchan as Raghu, the current leader of the Brahmānsh, Guru of recruited members and wields the Prabhāstra. Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, an orphan and newly recruit member of the Brahmānsh, who possesses the power of the Agnyastra, (the astra of fire) within himself. Nivaan Gupta as baby Shiva Alia Bhatt as Isha Chatterjee, an OCI from London who is Shiva's love interest. Mouni Roy as Junoon, who aims to revive the Brahmāstra and release Dev. Nagarjuna Akkineni as Anish Shetty, an artist and an archaeologist who is a member of the Brahmānsh and wielded the Nandi Astra. Saurav Gurjar as Zor, a henchman of Junoon.[12] Rohollah Ghazi as Raftaar, a henchman of Junoon. Aditi Joshi as Rani, a newly recruit of Brahmānsh. Lehar Khan as Raveena, a newly recruit of Brahmānsh who wields the Gajāstra. Gurfateh Pirzada as Sher, a newly recruit of Brahmānsh who wields the Nāg Dhanush[13] Stanzin Denek as Tensing, a newly recruit of Brahmānsh who wielded the Pawanāstra. Dimple Kapadia as unnamed member of Brahmānsh. Saqib Ayub as Ali, Shiva's friend. Chaitnya Sharma as Tiger, Shiva's friend. Rashi Mal as Shaina, Isha's cousin.[14][15][16] Shah Rukh Khan as Mohan Bhargav, a scientist and a member of the Brahmānsh who wielded Vanarāstra.[17] The name of the character is a nod to Khan's character in the 2004 film Swades.[18] Deepika Padukone as Amrita, Shiva's mother and a former member of the Brahmānsh who wielded Jalāstra (uncredited appearance)[19] Rohan Rustomji as Sunny, Isha's cousin. Farida Dadi as Aunty, Shiva's landlady. Riyaaz Makaney as Dadaji, Isha's grandfather. Ranbir Kapoor Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra did 200 crore business in 9 days and heading towards greatest bollywood blockbuster in 2022

Ayan Mukherjee directed a fanstastic film Brahmastra. All the actors Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bacchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and others did fabulous acting. Brahmastra did 200 crore business in 9 days and 120 crores business in foreign markets.
She added that she mainly focussed on "understanding and being honest to the emotion more than anything else." Mirza also revealed that she had to "dye [her] hair jet black" and eventually saw herself as Manyata Dutt once she "placed that mole on my face and saw myself in the mirror" as she saw Maanayata in her "reflection."[55] Mirza, also revealed that Maanayata was a "rock" in Dutt's life and with all "sincerity and honesty [wanted to] understand "what it meant to be a mother and a wife" On Sonam Kapoor's costume, Lakhani revealed that Kapoor's costume was designed to look like "the girl next door, pretty, giving out very delicate vibes [with] really soft fabrics, pastel hues, delicate embroidery. Kapoor's costume was given "peter pan collars in all her outfits... to make her from that era" except that the team stayed away from making her look like a "fashion diva" but more "real".

Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos did business of 40 crores.

Ranbir’s Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos did business of 40 crores in 5 days. Anurag Basu directed the film Jagga Jasoos with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. He has done an excellent work. The film had done business of 40 crores in 5 days. Jagga Jasoos Story Revolves around the Infamous High Profile Case of Purulia Arms Drop, which took place in the Year 1995 allegedly to Overthrow the then Communist Government of West Bengal, India . Jagga (Ranbir Kapoor), a curious and shy young boy in a quaint little town lives a happy life with his accident-prone father, Bagchi (Saswata Chatterjee). After admitting Jagga into a boarding school, his father suddenly disappears. Feeling abandoned, Jagga's only contact with his father is a VHS tape that he receives in the mail every year on his birthday. Armed with sharp detective skills, Jagga sets out to solve the mystery of his missing parent. Along the way, he finds a partner in Shruti (Katrina Kaif) an accident-prone journalist with her own international criminal case to solve. Using a few tricks he learnt from Bagchi, with Shruti embark on a mission to uncover details of his father's mysterious life and finds himself embroiled in a worldwide smuggling racket. Filming took place in Cape Town, South Africa. Reports from Cape Town were that the real-world romance of leads Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif and occasional arguments between the two caused some delays and resulted in scenes not having the impact intended by director Anurag Basu. By March 20, 2014, the director had completed 20 days of filming with his leads and, being unhappy with initial efforts by actor Ranbir Kapoor, intends to use the additional schedule time to re-shoot some scenes. Kapoor has been simultaneously shooting for Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet and Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha. The director explained, "We've to shoot Jagga Jasoos during the gaps in the shooting of Bombay Velvet. We completed one schedule. Now we'll go into a lengthy schedule from August. By the end of the year the shooting would be complete." On October 21, 2014, the team started filming in Thailand. On April 20, 2016, they filmed in Darjeeling. Ravi Varman is the Director of Photography. The film was also shot in Morocco. The film was originally going to release on November 27, 2016, but due to conflicting commitments by the lead actors, the film's release date was pushed to April 2017. Then the director called back Ranbir and Katrina for re-shooting of some scenes on the set and the film is once again pushed to release on July 14, 2017. The music of Pritam in the film was impressive with Arijit Singh’s songs “dil ullu ka patha hai”, “galti se mistake”, “phir wahi” becoming big hits. Anurag Basu has shown glimpses of Ray by shooting the rail track in Africa, with giraffes, zebras standing, the dance sequences of Ranbir, Katrina having style of Barfi of Gopi Gayin Bagha Bain and also glimpses of Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker. There are lot of scientific informations in the film like, if for a stammerer the right side of the brain which is the logical side does not help, he should take help from left side which is the imaginative side and sing songs. Ranbir did it in the film. The performances of Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Saswata Chatterjee, Sourabh Shukla were brilliant. The film took a slow start but is destined to do well.

Happy bithday to superstar Ranbir Kapoor.

Happy birthday to Ranbir Kapoor.
The viewers of Bollywood films wish happy birthday to superstar Ranbir Kapoor on 28th September, 2013. He had a great burden of proving his worth for being the son of successful artists Rishi Kapoor and Nitu Singh. He had also the burden of carrying the legacy of his grandfather Showman Raj Kapoor. He started his career with the film Sawaaria in 2007 which did not do great business. But his second film Bachna Aye Haseeno did great business. He acted opposite three actress Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba. The three romantic stories were depicted in the same film. In the film Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani he acted opposite Katrina Kaif. The film did business of more than 65 crores. From that time he became a superstar. He showed his comedy skills and romantic skills in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film. He did a great job in the other two films as well namely Wake Up Sid and Rocket Singh. From 2011 Ranbir Kapoor had experimented with complicated characters. He was unblemish in the film Rockstar. He received filmfare award for the best performance in the film. He also played a brilliant character Barfi in Anurag Basu’s film Barfi in 2012. Again he received filmfare award for the best actor. He depicted the role of a deaf and dumb character with a lot of ease. He also best actor award in Screen Awards and IIFA awards. From that time he never looked back. On one had he has semi-art films like Rajneeti of Prakash Jha under his belt. At the same time in 2013 he had given a 189 crore business with his blockbuster film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. In playing romantic roles he is the number one actor at this point of time. Other than Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan none of the Indian actors have such a steady box-office like Ranbir Kapoor. He is the new superstar of the present period. There is a lot of expectation with his new film Besharam. It is going to be released this week. Barfi had done business of more than 80 crores due to brilliance of Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Barfi. Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s film Barfi had done business of more than 80 crores. Not only that the film had been nominated for Oscar awards, the director Anurag Basu had been congratulated from different quarters for the poetic rendition of the story. Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra gave their life's best performance in Barfee. Anurag Basu had directed a masterpiece classic film Barfee. The film had been released on 14th September, 2012. It had already collected 20 crores in the first two days. The film had been produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Sidharth Roy Kapoor. In the film Ranbir Kapoor played the role of a deaf and dumb person. His parents kept his name Murphy. But due to wrong pronunciation everyone started calling him Barfee. Illeana DCruz fell in love with him in Darjeeling. But due to the fact that her mother Rupa Ganguly warned her of not marrying a economically downtrodden person she could not marry him. She married Jishu Sengupta. Ranbir Kapoor wanted to kidnap Priyanka Chopra, an autistic girl whose father Ashish Vidyarthi depended on the trust property created in the name of her daughter. Ranbir Kapoor wanted to kidnap her for the 7 lakhs rupees required to save his father who suffered sickness. He got the money but the father died. Priyanka Chopra followed Ranbir Kapoor. He took her to Kolkata. Then she again disappeared to a boarding called Muskan. Illeana Decruz left her husband's house and went to live with Ranbir Kapoor. But Ranbir Kapoor liked Priyanka Chopra and married her. At the end of the film it was shown both died after attaining old age. Ranbir Kapoor should get all the awards for playing the role of a deaf and dumb ever smiling character. Priyanka Chopra really made everyone feel that she was suffering from autism. Illeana Decruz, Rupa Ganguly, Saurav Shukla, Haradhan Banerjee were brilliant in their performances. The background music of Pritam was excellent. Anurag Basu's camera work in Darjeeling and Kolkata were poetic. He was romantic in the presentation of nature. The film bears the best story of the year. After Kahaani, the film had been the most innovative film. Ranbir Kapoor had shown that a deaf and dumb person not only could earn his own living, could also take care of an autistic girl. The film was excellent. It had got great box-office response. Everyone should watch the film. It is interesting to see with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra gets the filmfare awards for the best actors and actresses. Vidya Balan is another great contender for the award for her excellent performance in the film Kahaani.

In the male category, Ranbir Kapoor won the filmfare award for the best actor for the performance in the film Rockstar. He won it against the other nominees Salman Khan in Bodyguard and Shahrukh Khan in Don 2.  Composition of music in the film Rockstar earned AR Rehman his filmfare award for 2012.

                  Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan

Zoya Akhtar won the best director award for the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Rani Mukherjee won the best supporting actress award for her performance in the film No One Killed Jessica. It is very strange that Kareena Kapoor did not even get a nomination in Filmfare Awards 2012.

                                          Kareena Kapoor.

It is very strange that Kareena Kapoor did not even get a nomination in Filmfare Awards 2012.

There was a time when filmfare awards had a lot to do with public sentiments. In 1964, the biggest blockbuster was Sangam. During that year the filmfare award for the best actress went to Vaijayantimala for Sangam. In the same year, Raj Kapoor won the filmfare award for the best director for his work in the film Sangam.

The days had changed. The meaning of awards had also changed. In 2011, the biggest blockbuster was Bodyguard. To everyone’s surprise Kareena Kapoor did not get even a nomination of best actress award in filmfare 2012. From 2009, Kareena Kapoor had featured in successful films opposite the superstars, Amir Khan in The Three Idiots, Salman Khan in Bodyguard and Shahrukh Khan in Ra One. Both Ra One and Bodyguard had been released in 2011, and the performance of Kareena Kapoor in both these films was per excellence. It is another case that Vidya Balan had given an excellent performance in the dirty picture and may be the biggest candidate for the best actress award. But if the competition is between Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor, it makes sense. But the competition is between performance in flop films like Mahie Gill in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Priyanka Chopra in Saat Khoon Maaf, it makes no sense.
The male category is a bit better. But the fight should be between Salman Khan in Bodyguard, Ajay Devgan in Singham and Shahrukh Khan in Don 2. Ranbir Kapoor had won the best actor award in Colourscreen, so may win the filmfare also.

The best music director nominees are horrible altogether. The film Ready became successful due to popular music of Pritam. Pritam did not get a nomination even. Same is with the case of Himesh Reshammiya in Bodyguard. It is very obvious that AR Rehman is going to win the award, as the nominations are absurt with candidates like Ram Sampat in Delhi Belly, Sohail Sen in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It is even strange that the composer of popular music in film Bodyguard, Himesh Reshammiya never get any nomination. But the singer of the song of that composer gets a nomination, the example is Shreya Ghoshal in the song “teri meri” in the film Bodyguard. The chances are for Mohit Chouhan to win the award for the song “sada haq” in the film Rockstar.

Filmfare awards had lost the genuineness and transparency. It has become just any other awards. Gone were the days when Dilip Kumar winning the best actor award 8 times showed his supremacy over Raj Kapoor, or Shankar Jaikishan winning the best music director award 9 times showed his brilliance over Naushad Ali, Roshanlal Nagrath and others.

Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan won the best actor and actress Colour Screen Awards 2012.

Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan in Colour Screen Awards 2012. Actor Ranbir Kapoor won the best actor award in Colour Screen Awards 2012 for his brilliant performance in the film Rockstar. It is very strange that Salman Khan did not get the award this time even inspite of giving brilliant performance in the film Bodyguard. Vidya Balan won the best actress award for her brilliant performance in the film Dirty Picture. She deserved the award, but Kareena Kapoor had provided the next best performance in the films Bodyguard and Ra One. Milan Luthria won the best director award for the film Dirty Picture. Saif Ali Khan won the best supporting actor award for his performance in the film Aarakshan. Aditi Rao Hydari won the best supporting actress award for her performance in the film Yeh Saali Zindagi. AR Rehman won the best music director award for his music in the film Rockstar. It is very strange that Pritam did not get a nomination also for his music in the film Ready and Himesh Reshammiya did not get a nomination even for his music in the film Bodyguard. Good music was one of the reasons for the success of the film Bodyguard which did business worth 160 crores. If popular choice actors, actresses, singers, composers, don’t get any award, most of the awards look meaningless. Mohit Chauhan won the best male singer award for the song “phir se ud chala” in the film Rockstar, while Shreya Ghoshal won the best female singer award for the song “ooh lala ooh lala” in the film Dirty Picture.

Happy birthday to Minissha Lamba.

Minissha Lamba. The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to Minisha Lamba on 18th January, 2012. She had been a new icon of bollywood films who had become popular during the last few years and is about to act in big banner films. She started her career in bollywood films with the film Yahaan in 2005. It was directed by Sujit Sircar and he was looking for a newcomer at that time. Minisha Lamba created an impression and bagged an important role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s successful film Corporate. Corporate was based on the complexities faced by the workers and the employers of the corporate world which is crude reality in the metros. Most of the employees in the corporate world become mentally sick with the monotonous work culture and demand of fulfilling targets. Bipasha Basu gave a lifetime performance in the film and Minisha Lamba also was appreciated for her strong performance. She acted in small budget films like Anthony Kaun Hai, Dus Kahaniya, Honeymoon Travels Kaun Hai and became a regular actress in contemporary films. Then she got a lifetime role in the film Bacchan Aye Haseeno, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Newcomers in bollywood dream about getting roles under the Yashraj Banner. Minissha Lamba got the role in the very early part of her career. Bacchna Aye Haseeno was the story of Ranbir Kapoor who had met three different girls in his life and each of the girls had a great influence on his character. He had different experiences with Minisha Lamba, Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone and all the experiences eventually shaped his character. Minnisha Lamba gave able lips in the song “ki mujhe pyar hai” composed by Vishal Shekhar in the film. The music of the film was very impressive with hit songs like “bacchna aye haseeno”, and other songs. In 2008, Minisha Lamba also acted in an important character in the action film Kidnap. She played the role of the daughter of Sanjay Dutt was lived separately from her mother due to differences between each other. Imran Khan, the relative of Amir Khan, kidnapped her and asked for heavy ransom from her father Sanjay Dutt. Although Sanjay Dutt did not fulfill any of the father’s responsibilities till the call of kidnapper was made, his influence in the society was used for releasing his daughter. He took the call of Imran Khan as a challenge and the rest of the film involved the struggle of Sanjay Dutt in bringing Khan to task. She did well opposite Boman Irani in Shyam Benegal’s film Well done Abba. Minissha Lamba was sublime in the film and showed signs of a matured actress. In 2012 she had acted in the film Joker opposite Akshay Kumar and Zilla Ghaziabad opposite Sanjay Dutt and Vivek Oberoi. With a number of new actresses like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Asin, increasing the competition amongst heroines, Minissha Lamba has a challenging task of maintaining her stardom and perform even better in the new films in future.

Amitabh Bacchan won the best actor award in a social role for his performance in the film Aarakshan. Farhan Akhtar won the best actor award in a comic role.

Kareena Kapoor won the best actress award in a romantic role for her performance in the film Bodyguard. Rani Mukherjee won the best actress award in a social role for her performance in the film No One Killed Jessica. Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor won the award for the best onscreen couple for their performance in the film Bodyguard.

The film Ready was adjudged the best comedy film of the year. Bodyguard won the award for the best action film of the year. Rockstar won the award for the best romantic film of the year. No One Killed Jessica won the award for the best social film of the year. Mohit Chauhan won the award for the best singer for his performance in the song Saada Haq in the film Rockstar. Shreya Ghoshal won the award for the best singer for her performance in the song Teri Meri in the film Bodyguard. Himesh Reshammiya and Pritam won the award for the music director for their performance in the film Bodyguard.

More or less all the majority of actors and actresses were rewarded. Even then the best actor award should have gone to Salman Khan for his performance in the film Bodyguard. The best actress award should have gone to Kareena Kapoor for her performance in the film Bodyguard. Ranbir Kapoor won the award for his hard work. But the biggest business was done in the year by the film Bodyguard. In that perspective Salman Khan’s performance was better than Ranbir Singh’s performance in the year 2012.
