Plot
Ranvijay "Vijay" Singh is the son of Balbir Singh, a Delhi-based business magnate who heads the generational steel company "Swastik Steels corp." His family includes Balbir, his mother, grandfather Rajdheer and sisters Reet and Roop. Vijay has adored Balbir since childhood, but Balbir neglects him and behaves harshly due to his busy schedule. When Vijay brings an AK-47 to school and hurts a group of boys who bullied Reet, Balbir sends him away to a boarding school in United States.
Years later, Vijay returns to Delhi after completing his education and attends the engagement of former classmate Geetanjali "Geeta" Iyengar, whom he has always loved. He convinces her to break her engagement and choose him. During Balbir's 60th birthday, Vijay fights with Reet's husband Varun and is kicked out of the house. He promptly marries Geeta and moves to the United States, where they have two children. Eight years later, he learns that his father was shot by unidentified assailants. He returns to India and sets out to find the person responsible for the assassination attempt.
Vijay goes to his native village in Punjab to meet his great-uncle Dalbir Singh, reconnecting with him after several years of no contact, and rounds up his cousins to help in the mission. He sets up a doppelgänger for Balbir who is killed by Asrar Haque's men. After discovering that Varun was involved in the attempt, Vijay kills him at a work meeting where Asrar is present. Later, at a hotel where Vijay is meeting with an arms dealer, Asrar and his assailants arrive in the hundreds to kill him. After a lengthy battle, Vijay defeats them but sustains brutal injuries and goes into a coma.
Upon waking from his coma two weeks later, Vijay eventually receives a transplant for his failing heart, successfully recovers, and meets Zoya, the fiancé of his donor. The two begin an affair and Zoya falls in love with him. She reveals that she lied about her identity and was actually sent by Asrar's mute younger brother Abrar to honey trap him.
Vijay had known all along about Zoya's true identity and had used her to learn the identity of the perpetrator. His grandfather reveals that Asrar and his younger brothers Abrar and Abid are actually related to their family, as they are the grandsons of Dalbir and Rajdheer's late younger brother Shamsher Singh. Rajdheer had banished Shamsher from the family decades ago due to his shady dealings and immoral practices. Shamsher's son Azim (Asrar, Abid and Abrar's father), returned years later to ask for his share of the property, but Balbir refused. Shamsher torched himself to death in retaliation, which Abrar witnessed, rendering him mute and traumatized. These incidents served as catalysts for Asrar and his brothers to seek revenge on Balbir.
Abrar now lives in Scotland and has converted to Islam. Vijay and his cousins kill Abrar's men and learn that Abrar and Abid plan to escape to another country in their private jet. Vijay and his men stop the plane and a brutal fight ensues. Vijay eventually slits Abrar's throat and returns to India, his goal accomplished. During Diwali, Balbir reveals that he has terminal cancer and realizes that his upbringing is the reason behind Vijay's aggression. He apologizes and reconciles with Vijay, who is overjoyed after finally receiving the love and affection from his father he had thirsted for all his life.
In the post-credits scene, Azrar, Abid and Abrar's other younger brother Aziz, a professional assassin in Istanbul, learns that Vijay is responsible for killing his two brothers. After undergoing plastic surgery to become Vijay's doppelgänger, Aziz, with his only remaining brother Abid, set out to exact vengeance on Vijay and his family.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra with 250 crores business in India and 140 crores business abroad is heading towards greatest bollywood blockbuster of 2022
Ayan Mukherjee directed a fanstastic film Brahmastra. All the actors Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bacchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and others did fabulous acting. Brahmastra did 250 crore business in 15 days and 140 crores business in foreign markets. It is heading towards greatest bollywood blockbuster of 2022. In ancient India, a group of sages in the Himalayas collide with the energy Brahm-shakti, which produces many celestial weapons of great power called astras. The strongest among them, the Brahmāstra, carries the capacity to destroy the world. The sages use their respective astras to control the Brahmāstra and become the Brahmānsh, a secret society to protect the world from the powers of astras.
In present-day Mumbai, Shiva a disc jockey, falls in love at first sight with Isha Chatterjee, a London resident who is visiting India for the Durga Puja festival at her grandfather's pandal. Soon, Isha reciprocates his feelings for her. Shiva tells her that he is an orphan who never knew his father, and his mother died in an accident when he was a baby. Meanwhile, in Delhi, Mohan Bhargav is attacked by Zor and Raftar for a piece of Brahmāstra he owns. Mohan manages to disguise it inside his Mayāstra before escaping by using the Vanārastra. When he returns to retrieve the piece, he is captured by Junoon, who works for the mysterious Dev. Under Junoon's possession, Mohan reveals that the second piece is protected by an artist and archaeologist named Anish Shetty in Kashi. The third piece is with Guru, the current leader of the Brahmānsh. Before he can reveal the location of Brahmānsh (Āshram), Mohan commits suicide.
Shiva sees a vision of Mohan's encounter with Junoon. He and Isha head for Kashi to warn and save Anish but are interrupted by Raftar, who now wields Vānarāstra. Anish defeats him using the Nandiāstra before escaping with Shiva and Isha. While going to Himachal Pradesh, where Āshram is located, they are chased by Junoon and Zor in a truck. Anish gives the second piece of the Brahmāstra to Shiva and stays to fight Junoon and Zor, only to be killed. Shiva and Isha are chased by Raftar to Āshram where Shiva kills him using the Agnyāstra after he tried to kill Isha. At Āshram, they learn about other astras and Shiva is forced to join Brahmānsh by Guru for the information of his parents. He meets other newly recruits Rani, Raveena, Sher and Tensing who are all trained by Guru on how to use their respective astras and Shiva also gains control over fire. As Junoon gets closes to them, Guru reveals that Shiva is the son of former Brahmānsh members, Dev and Amrita. Dev actually awoke the Brahmāstra as he was the only person, who was able to control multiple astrās at once.
Amrita (pregnant with Dev's child), who wielded the Jalāstra defeated him in a battle on a remote island and both of them seemingly perished from the battle. Amrita's boat was found in the ruins of the battle, brought back from the island, with two broken pieces of the Brahmāstra. The pieces of the Brahmastra were given to both Mohan and Anish. The third piece was believed to be missing, with Amrita concluding that they both survived. The third piece of the Brahmāstra is in Amrita's Mayāstra disguised into a conch shell which Shiva unknowingly releases it after his blood drops on the conch. Junoon and her army arrive at Āshram for Brahmāstra and hostages everyone. Shiva defeats Junoon while also killing Roz, who wielded Nandi Astra and releases everyone. But Junoon managed to take the third piece from Isha. She seemingly sacrificed herself to activate Brahmāstra. The destruction starts to begin but Shiva gains control over the Brahmāstra with the 'power of love', reuniting with Isha.
Before the credits, due to Junoon having activated the Brahmāstra, Dev, who was imprisoned as a statue on an unknown island, is released.

The idea of Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva first came to Mukerji in 2011 while writing the script for his second film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.[20] Mukerji first announced that he was working on a new project in July 2014.[21] At the time, the film was titled Dragon.[22] In October 2017, Brahmāstra was officially announced by producer Karan Johar. Mukerji was signed as the director while Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were set to star. Initially, the film's title was rumoured to be Dragon but was later confirmed as Brahmāstra. Mukerji explained that the title Brahmāstra "resonates with the ancient wisdom, energies and power."[23] Mukerji also revealed that it is a "contemporary film with ancient elements."[24] In 2017, Johar revealed his plan to make the film into a film trilogy.[25][26] The preparation for the film started in January 2018.[27]
In an interview, Kapoor stated that Mukerji "has spent six years of his life working really hard to make an original story" and that the trilogy would be made over a period of 10 years[28] and refuted rumours suggesting that it is a romantic superhero film. Instead, Kapoor confirmed that the film is a "romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format". and that the film is not something which "doesn't have truth to it, or which is unbelievable".[28] Nagarjuna Akkineni also confirmed that he would be playing a "pivotal" role.[29] Mouni Roy revealed in an interview that she is the "only antagonist" in the film.[30][31]
In June 2022, Mukerji announced the film would be a part of a trilogy franchise – serving as the first instalment – under the Astraverse, a cinematic universe centered around various mystical astras.[32][33] In August 2022, Roy confirmed Shah Rukh Khan had a cameo appearance in the film.[34]

Themes
In July 2022, a video was released featuring Mukerji explaining the mystical universe of various astras.[37] He explained how from the Brahm-Shakti, astras were born, which compose all the different energies that are found in nature like Jalāstra (water), Pawanāstra (wind), and Agnyastra (fire). He also talked about astras that store the powers of different animals like the Vanarāstra, which can give the power of a "divine" monkey to the person who controls it, and the Nandiāstra, which contains the power and strength of a thousand bulls, within itself. The last āstra to emerge from the universe, carrying the collective power of the Brahm-Shakti – called the "lord of all the āstras" – is explained to be one of the most powerful celestial weapons of gods (or Devas) in Hindu mythology, the Brahmāstra.[38] Mukerji stated that the core idea was inspired by stories of Hindu mythology he heard in his childhood from his grandfather.[39]

Mukerji revealed that the inspiration behind actor Kapoor's character came from Rumi who also inspired the first look of his character. Ranbir Kapoor Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra did 200 crore business in 9 days and heading towards greatest bollywood blockbuster in 2022
Ayan Mukherjee directed a fanstastic film Brahmastra. All the actors Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bacchan, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and others did fabulous acting. Brahmastra did 200 crore business in 9 days and 120 crores business in foreign markets.

In the male
category, Ranbir Kapoor won the filmfare award for the best actor for the

Khan in Bodyguard and Shahrukh Khan in Don 2. Composition of music in the film Rockstar

It is strange
that Bodyguard was not considered for awards inspite of the film doing business
worth 160 crores. Neither Salman Khan won the best actor award, nor Kareena
Kapoor won the best actress award, nor Shreya Ghoshal won the best singer award
for “teri meri” song, nor Siddique received the best director award. Ranbir
Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan hosted the award.

Salman Khan was again ignored for awards inspite of giving greatest blockbuster Bodyguard in 2011.

It is very strange that Kareena Kapoor did not even get a nomination in Filmfare Awards 2012.
Kareena Kapoor.
It is very
strange that Kareena Kapoor did not even get a nomination in Filmfare Awards
2012.
There was a time
when filmfare awards had a lot to do with public sentiments. In 1964, the
biggest blockbuster was Sangam. During that year the filmfare award for the
best actress went to Vaijayantimala for Sangam. In the same year, Raj Kapoor
won the filmfare award for the best director for his work in the film Sangam.
The days had
changed. The meaning of awards had also changed. In 2011, the biggest
blockbuster was Bodyguard. To everyone’s surprise Kareena Kapoor did not get
even a nomination of best actress award in filmfare 2012. From 2009, Kareena
Kapoor had featured in successful films opposite the superstars, Amir Khan in
The Three Idiots, Salman Khan in Bodyguard and Shahrukh Khan in Ra One. Both Ra
One and Bodyguard had been released in 2011, and the performance of Kareena
Kapoor in both these films was per excellence. It is another case that Vidya
Balan had given an excellent performance in the dirty picture and may be the
biggest candidate for the best actress award. But if the competition is between
Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor, it makes sense. But the competition is between performance
in flop films like Mahie Gill in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Priyanka Chopra in
Saat Khoon Maaf, it makes no sense.
The male
category is a bit better. But the fight should be between Salman Khan in
Bodyguard, Ajay Devgan in Singham and Shahrukh Khan in Don 2. Ranbir Kapoor had
won the best actor award in Colourscreen, so may win the filmfare also.
The best music
director nominees are horrible altogether. The film Ready became successful due
to popular music of Pritam. Pritam did not get a nomination even. Same is with
the case of Himesh Reshammiya in Bodyguard. It is very obvious that AR Rehman
is going to win the award, as the nominations are absurt with candidates like
Ram Sampat in Delhi Belly, Sohail Sen in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It is even strange that the composer of popular music in film Bodyguard, Himesh
Reshammiya never get any nomination. But the singer of the song of that
composer gets a nomination, the example is Shreya Ghoshal in the song “teri
meri” in the film Bodyguard. The chances are for Mohit Chouhan to win the award
for the song “sada haq” in the film Rockstar.
Filmfare awards
had lost the genuineness and transparency. It has become just any other awards.
Gone were the days when Dilip Kumar winning the best actor award 8 times showed
his supremacy over Raj Kapoor, or Shankar Jaikishan winning the best music
director award 9 times showed his brilliance over Naushad Ali, Roshanlal
Nagrath and others.

Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan won the best actor and actress Colour Screen Awards 2012.
Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan in Colour Screen Awards 2012.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor won the best actor award in Colour Screen Awards 2012 for his brilliant performance in the film Rockstar. It is very strange that Salman Khan did not get the award this time even inspite of giving brilliant performance in the film Bodyguard. Vidya Balan won the best actress award for her brilliant performance in the film Dirty Picture. She deserved the award, but Kareena Kapoor had provided the next best performance in the films Bodyguard and Ra One.
Milan Luthria won the best director award for the film Dirty Picture. Saif Ali Khan won the best supporting actor award for his performance in the film Aarakshan. Aditi Rao Hydari won the best supporting actress award for her performance in the film Yeh Saali Zindagi.
AR Rehman won the best music director award for his music in the film Rockstar. It is very strange that Pritam did not get a nomination also for his music in the film Ready and Himesh Reshammiya did not get a nomination even for his music in the film Bodyguard. Good music was one of the reasons for the success of the film Bodyguard which did business worth 160 crores. If popular choice actors, actresses, singers, composers, don’t get any award, most of the awards look meaningless. Mohit Chauhan won the best male singer award for the song “phir se ud chala” in the film Rockstar, while Shreya Ghoshal won the best female singer award for the song “ooh lala ooh lala” in the film Dirty Picture.

Happy birthday to Minissha Lamba.
Minissha Lamba.
The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to Minisha Lamba on 18th January, 2012. She had been a new icon of bollywood films who had become popular during the last few years and is about to act in big banner films.
She started her career in bollywood films with the film Yahaan in 2005. It was directed by Sujit Sircar and he was looking for a newcomer at that time. Minisha Lamba created an impression and bagged an important role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s successful film Corporate.
Corporate was based on the complexities faced by the workers and the employers of the corporate world which is crude reality in the metros. Most of the employees in the corporate world become mentally sick with the monotonous work culture and demand of fulfilling targets. Bipasha Basu gave a lifetime performance in the film and Minisha Lamba also was appreciated for her strong performance.
She acted in small budget films like Anthony Kaun Hai, Dus Kahaniya, Honeymoon Travels Kaun Hai and became a regular actress in contemporary films. Then she got a lifetime role in the film Bacchan Aye Haseeno, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Newcomers in bollywood dream about getting roles under the Yashraj Banner. Minissha Lamba got the role in the very early part of her career.
Bacchna Aye Haseeno was the story of Ranbir Kapoor who had met three different girls in his life and each of the girls had a great influence on his character. He had different experiences with Minisha Lamba, Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone and all the experiences eventually shaped his character. Minnisha Lamba gave able lips in the song “ki mujhe pyar hai” composed by Vishal Shekhar in the film. The music of the film was very impressive with hit songs like “bacchna aye haseeno”, and other songs.
In 2008, Minisha Lamba also acted in an important character in the action film Kidnap. She played the role of the daughter of Sanjay Dutt was lived separately from her mother due to differences between each other. Imran Khan, the relative of Amir Khan, kidnapped her and asked for heavy ransom from her father Sanjay Dutt.
Although Sanjay Dutt did not fulfill any of the father’s responsibilities till the call of kidnapper was made, his influence in the society was used for releasing his daughter. He took the call of Imran Khan as a challenge and the rest of the film involved the struggle of Sanjay Dutt in bringing Khan to task.
She did well opposite Boman Irani in Shyam Benegal’s film Well done Abba. Minissha Lamba was sublime in the film and showed signs of a matured actress. In 2012 she had acted in the film Joker opposite Akshay Kumar and Zilla Ghaziabad opposite Sanjay Dutt and Vivek Oberoi. With a number of new actresses like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Asin, increasing the competition amongst heroines, Minissha Lamba has a challenging task of maintaining her stardom and perform even better in the new films in future.
