Isha Koppikar – the new prospect of bollywood.
Isha Koppikar had started her career by participating in beauty contests and then entered bollywood films. In 1995, she participated in the Miss India Contest and won the Miss Talent Crown. In 1998, she appeared in a Tamil film titled Kaadhal Kavithai opposite Prashanth.
She appeared in the bollywood film Fiza, where Hrithik Roshan and Karishma Kapoor played the leading roles. She also impressed the viewers with her performance in the film. She acted in the film Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat opposite Sunil Shetty and Arjun Rampal. She got her place cemented in bollywood films from that time.
In Dil Ka Rishta, she acted opposite Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal. She also acted in Ram Gopal Verma’s film Darna Mana Hai, which was based on stories relating to ghosts. She played a very impressive role in the film Krishna Cottage opposite Sohail Khan which was a crime thriller.
In Krishna Cottage, she loved Sohail Khan and after her death also could not forget him. Sohail Khan was amazed to see uncanny events occurring with his friends. At the end he realized that Isha Kopikkar wanted him even after her death. Although these stories are based on unrealistic subject matter which some people believe in, others don’t, yet the presentation of the story and Isha Kopikkar’s performance requires special mention.
She also acted in a challenging role in the film Inteqam, opposite Manoj Vajpai, where the story line had similarity with Sharon Stone’s Basic Instinct. Her biggest success was in the role of Anita in Sharukh Khan’s Don. She was jealous about Prinyanka Chopra and loyal to Don. She also played an impressive role in the film Salaam –e-ishq, opposite Sohail Khan, where Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra played the leading roles.
The viewers expect Isha Koppikar to continue her good work in the years to come.
