Salman Khan's Race 3 did business of 171 crores in 15 days. It ended up being hit and not blockbuster. In 2018 it had been the 2nd highest grosser after Padmavat. Last year Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai did business of 339 crores. So in that perspective the film did moderate business. But Salman Khan was sublime in the film inspite of average word of mouth. The songs "allah duhai hai", "heeriye" and "ek baar baby selfish hoke apne liye jiyo na" became super hit. Atif Aslam was sublime. Music was composed by Salim Sulaiman. The film was directed Remo Desouza.

Race 3 is a 2018 Indian action thriller film directed by Remo D'Souza and produced under Tips Films and Salman Khan Films. The film features Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. It is the third installment of Race film series, and the film has a different plot than previous films of the franchise. Shamsher Singh (Anil Kapoor) owns a private island Al-Shifa for trading arms and narcotics. Sikander Singh (Salman Khan) is Shamsher's step son, while Sanjana (Daisy Shah) and Suraj (Saqib Saleem) are his twin children. Yash (Bobby Deol) is a close associate at Shamsher's empire and confidante of Sikander. In a flashback scene, it is revealed that Rana Vijay (Freddy Daruwala) is Shamsher's business rival and he creates problems for Shamsher's family businesses. As both Sanjana and Suraj age to 25 years, their family lawyer explains the will of their deceased mother (Nishigandha Wad). As per the will, the twins are entitled for 25% share each, and the rest 50% for Sikander. This visible disparity, the twins begin hating Sikander. Shamsher tells both of them that Sikander, is the son of his elder brother Ranchor Singh (Milind Gunaji). In a flashback, that portrays Handia village of 1970s, the history of Singh family is depicted. Both the Singh brothers used to supply weapons to Indian army. Local politicians of Handia asked them for illegal weapons to which Ranchor refuses. His refusal causes rivalry with a local politician. One day, during an ambush on Shamsher's truck, Vijendar Singh's (Manav Vij) son (Anurag Arora) is killed by Ranchor's gunshot. One day, Ranchor dies when his car is exploded by a bomb. Singh family is then sought to be as a legitimized anti-state and are accused of supplying weapons to enemies. Shamsher sends Sikander to Beijing for studies and takes Suraj, Sanjana and their widowed mother to Cambodia. Back to present day Al-Shifa, on one night, Yash talks about his girlfriend. Sikander reveals that in Beijing he fell in love with a girl named Jessica (Jacqueline Fernandez) who severed him. Shamsher's childhood friend Brijmohan (Rajesh Sharma) tells him that his friend's hotel was used by politicians for their lascivious motives where all the activity was captured on a spy video camera and stored on hard disk. The hard disk was kept at a bank's locker in Cambodia. Shamsher appoints Sikander on discovery of hard disk who promises him to get back the disk. The Next day, during a party it is revealed that Jessica was actually Yash's girlfriend. Sikander and Jessica meet privately in the security room. The very next day, Suraj and Sanjana (twins), who had recorded Sikander-Jessica's meet, screen the video to Yash. A furious Yash goes to Jessica's apartment and finds Sikander present with her. Sikander later tells him that the both of their past interactions with Jessica were planned by Suraj and Sanjana (twins), as part of their plan to destroy Sikander. Yash teams up with Sikander against the twins but disguises to be with the twins also. Sikander, the twins, Yash and Jessica execute the mission to recover the hard disk. After handing over the hard disk to Shamsher, he eliminates Sikander by planting explosives in Sikander's car and heads to conference with politicians whose objectionable videos were on the disk. Shamsher tells about Sikander's death to the politicians, in the presence of the twins. He then plugs hard disk and is shocked to find out that the disk was not the original one. Rather, it contained only one video of Sikander's mother. Sikander's mother self filmed a video in which she reveals the truth that Sikander's father (Ranchor) was killed by Shamsher, and the twins were Ranchor's kids. Sikander arrives and tells how he escaped from explosion, thanking to the timely intervention by Raghu Chacha (Sharat Saxena). He further reveals that he knew this secret since ten years and been pretending to be loyal to Shamsher. Shamsher tells that Yash is his real son. A fight scene in the desert between Sikander and Yash, Sikander demolishes the entire army of Shamsher and makes both Yash and Shamsher to surrendered to Jessica who happens to be an Interpol officer. The arrested father-son duo are flown to their native village Handia. Shamsher is seen bribing a police officer during jail proceedings, while Yash is seen to toning is body inside the prison cell. Sikander, reuniting with his twin siblings in Al-Shifa reveals the plot of handing over the original hard disk to Jessica. In conversation with the twins and Jessica, Shamsher makes a metaphorical statement about "Sher" (tiger) of a new race. The music of the film was decent.

Singer Kartar Singh had ended his journey in X Factor shown in Sony Television Channel. . He reached the top 6 spots in X Factor program but could not make it to the top 5 spot. On 6th August, composers Salim Sulaiman came to the program and sang the songs “maito awe awe awe” from the film Band Baaja Baarat in style. They appreciated all the singers in the program.

Singer Shreya Ghoshal had shown a lot of courage in choosing an old singer of the age of Kartar Singh who had crossed 60 years and yet contested with the junior singers. The great part of Kartar Singh had been his choice of songs.

He had admitted that he was a die-hard fan of Mohammad Rafi. He had sung sweet romantic songs in the program like “din dhal jaye”, “mera to job hi kadam hai”, “ek haseen sham ko”, “beeti na bitayi rehna”, etc. He had lost out to the great singers Nirmeeti Group, Sajda Sisters, Deewana Group, Geet Sagar and Seema Jha.

Whenever guests had come to the program, like Jeetender, the courage and effort of Kartar Singh found prominence and he was appreciated by all of them.

On 6th August, the theme was recent hits. Sajda Sisters did a great job with the song “parda parda”. Seema Jha sang the song “beeri jalaile”. Deewana Group were majestic in the song “hum ko peeni hai” from the film Dabaang. Nirmeeti Group also the sang the song “munni badnaam hui” from the film Dabaang with their own improvisation.

After seeing the program for 2 months many viewers feel that Sajda Sisters are the most cultured group of singers who had sung in the program. It is immaterial whether their style suited every type of songs. The best musical jugglery had been shown by Deewana Group. Just categorizing them for Sufiana songs is unfair. They have great range of voice and lot of harkats. Nirmeeti Group had shown huge amount of improvisation and may be “haal kaisa hai janaab ka” was their best performance till date.
The fate of all the best 5 singers is dependant on the public voting system. The viewers expect even better performance from all the participants in the future episodes.

Both the brothers Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant, known as Salim Sulaiman are great composers during present period of time. They rose to fame after composing music for Kaal. The songs were very meaningful and added flavor in the suspense thriller.

In Neal ‘n’ Nikki, Salim Sulaiman gave catchy tunes. Their title song “chak de o chak de india” stormed bollywood. The song ended up being theme song of hockey players and other players.

They composed brilliant music in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Shahrukh Khan played the roles of Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, etc., in the song “hum hai rahi pyar ke”. Sonu Nigam sang the song after bringing the flavor of all the leading singers of bollywood during 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. While that song took the viewers by surprise, the song sung by Sukhwinder Singh titled ‘haule haule ho jayega pyar” became another super hit number.

They also gave successful music in the film Fashion. Although Madhur Bhandarkar’s film was related to negative traits in the fashion industry, the music of Salim Sulaiman captured the off-beat theme.

Salim Sulaiman won a number of awards for giving background scores. They won starscreen awards for providing best background music in the films Bhoot and Dhoom. They won the IIFA award for giving best background score in the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. They won the filmfare award for the best background score in the film Krissh.

These days Salim Merchant is seen as judge in Indian Idol Show in Sony Television Channel, along with Anu Malik and Sunidhi Chauhan. Salim’s immense musical knowledge had helped in bringing out the musical voices in the country.
The viewers expect Salim Sulaiman to independently give even better scores in future in bollywood films.

The viewers of bollywood films have a lot of expectation from the film Pyar Impossible. The film had been written and produced by Uday Chopra.

It has been an adaptation of the British film Notting Hill, in which Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant gave brilliant performances. The main reason for the attraction to the crowds is obviously the presence of Priyanka Chopra.

In this film Priyanka Chopra had acted opposite Uday Chopra and Dino Morea. Priyanka Chopra had given hits after hits in the last 2 years and had been used by different directors including Rakesh Roshan, Madhur Bhandarkar, etc. So her presence had added colour in the film.

The story of the film was related to the love story of Priyanka Chopra with her lover boy. The other factor which had raised a lot of curiousity in the minds of the viewers which include the presence of the director Jugal Hansraj, who tried to direct the film in his own style.

It had been produced by Uday Chopra and the music had been composed by Salim Sulaiman. The only worry is in terms of viewers indifference towards love stories. If we look back at the hit films in the last 3 years, we will find that most of them having stories involving laughter had done better business than the other ones.

Munnabhai MBBS, No Entry, did great business while Love Story 2050, Chandni Chowk To China did very average business. It is difficult to predict the success of the film. If it does moderate business it is more than enough.
