Soham, Kanchan, Subhashree promoted film Dekh Kemon Lage in Sourav Ganguly’s Dadagiri Program. On 15th July, 2017, actors and actresses Soham, Kanchan Mallick, Subhasree Ganguly, Sourav, Anindya and others came to promote their film Dekh Kemon Lage in Sourav Ganguly’s Dadagiri Program. Sourav Ganguly previously has brought many celebrities in Zee Bangla Dadagiri Program. Kanchan Mallick told Sourav Ganguly that this was the 6th time he came in Zee Bangla Dadagiri Program. In none of the previous occasions he could be the champion, he always finished 2nd. He said his first Bengali film was Saathi with Jeet 15 years back. So he completed 15 years in Bengali film industry. Kanchan Mallick jokingly said he won the prize of aamkath meaning mango wood bat everytime he became second. Ganguly said Zee Banga Dadagiri Program gave English Willow bat, not mango wood bat. Subhashree Ganguly told Sourav Ganguly that everytime she used to go for shows, the audience used to ask her whether she had any relationship with Sourav Ganguly. Sourav Ganguly in a witty manner said tel everyone Subhashree is the sister of Sourav Ganguly. Subhashree said he remained famous in the industry for her infectious laughter. Whenever she started laughing her laughter hardly ended. Subhashree and Soham told the story of the film Dekh Kemon Lage. They said Soham in the film went abroad and when he came back always got into trouble. Whenever he faced goons, his childhood friend Subhashree helped her to get out of trouble. Dekh Kemon Lage is a comedy film but is an entertainer. Anindya said he recently received best drama actor of the year for his performance in Bengali theatre. Sourav Ganguly congratulated him for that. Sourav said he was a big fan of Sourav Ganguly. He said he studied in South Point school and was at the verge of being rusticated from the school for fighting against friends relating to discussion with Sourav Ganguly. At the end of the program Sourav became the champion of the Zee Bangla Dadagiri Program. Again Kanchan Mallick became second. He did not go for challenge in the Bapi Bari Ja Round, to play safe but lost at the end.

Jimut, Subhashree displayed great classical singing in Zee Bangla Saregamapa Finale.

Jimut, Subhashree displayed great classical singing in Zee Bangla Saregamapa Program. Jimut became the champion of Zee Bangla Saregamapa Program. He won the grand finale of the program held on Saturday, 2nd June, 2017. Subhashree became the 1st Runner Up. Sudoy became the 3rd Runner up. Kumar Shanu, Madhushree, Palak Mucchal, Shantanu Maitra and Jeet Ganguly were the judges. They judged the entire program. The good part of the program was the best talents were promoted. Jishu Sengupta anchored the show. It has been seen that previously in Reality Shows, the singers who have better presence and rugged looks win the events. It did not happen with Zee Bangla Saregamapa Program. Jimut was the singer who all through the competition had taken up challenging songs having harkat, murkis and adverse movements. He took up the challenge of singing Dhananjay Bhattacharya’s landmark song “jhanana jhanana baaje”, he sang Manobendra Mukherjee’s classical song “na jeyona madhujamini”, “bone noy mane mor pakhi aar gaan gay”, Manna Dey’s “baje go bina”, “laga chunri me daag chupayu kaise”. These songs require serious classical practice. Only quality singers can sing these songs. Jimut was rightly adjudged the champion. Subhashree also took up challenging songs. She sang Haimanti Shukla’s song “ekhono sarangi ta bajche”, Lataji’s song “piya tose naina laage re”, Shreya Ghoshal’s song “tumi je amar”, etc. She in fact sang Shreya Ghoshal’s song in front of Shreya Ghoshal herself. She came as judge. She brilliant songs like “deewani ho gayi”, “barso re megha megha”, and many other songs. After marriage she has put on weight but the singing quality has been the same. She agreed that singing the song “ami je tomar” live was very difficult which Shubhashree did with elegance. Suday initially was singing Kumar Shanu’s songs. There after in the later rounds when competition became tougher, he started taking up challenging songs. He sang Rafisahab’s “ehsaan tera hoga mujhpar”, Manna Dey’s song “ayo twist Karen”, to name a few with whatever capability he had. So he improved in the final rounds. The other 2 finalists also did well including Mekhala and Sayon. The orchestration in the program was outstanding. Those who played live instruments they almost replicated the original songs. So contestants were lucky to perform with these musicians. The show ended after 6 months. It was a good show. Audiences and viewers were entertained.

They gave for the promotion of their new film Boss that is release this week at the time of Eid. Actress Subhashree had been every successful opposite the other Bengali superstar Deb. The anchor Mir Afsar Ali greeted Jeet and Subhashree well in the show. They were greeted by the judges as well Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra as well. The mentors Dr. Krishnendu, Sourav Paludi, Subhadeep and Arnab gave a special performance related to a court scene. All four of them represented the public prosecutor, the accused, the judge and the investigating police officer. Sourav played the character of the thief (the accused), Dr. Krishnendu played the character of the Public Prosecutor, Arnab played the character of the investigating officer while Subhadeep played the character of the judge. It was an awesome performance full of wit. Subhashis Mukherjee gave a hilarious presentation of parody with Palash Adhikari and Sangeet Tiwari. He played the character of singer Tansen. Palash Adhikari played the character of Emperor Akbar, while Sangeet Tiwari played the character of comedian Birbal. Subhash Mukherjee cleverly used the songs of films of superstar Jeet, changed the lyrics and fitted them in the context of the play. All of them did a great job. Both Jeet and Subhashree then came up on the stage and showed few steps related to the new songs of the film Boss. One of the judges Rajatavo Dutta had played the character of villain in the film Boss opposite Jeet. The other performers like Tapadyuti Dutta, Zameel Hussain, and others also did well. The elimination in the competition had started and one contestant is eliminated in every show.
