Biswajeet Chakravarty and his wife, Subhadra, Manasi and others stormed Zee Bangla Tumi Je Amar. On Poila Boishaksh, 15th April, 2014, the first day of Bengali new year, Prasenjit Chatterjee and Rachana Banerjee called the celebrity couples in the program Zee Bangla Tumi Je Amar. The celebrities included Biswajeet Chakravarty and his wife, Subhadhra Chakravarty and her husband Firoz, Manasi Sinha and her husband Shankha Sinha, and others. There five different rounds of Zee Bangla Tumi Je Amar Program including Shubho Drishti, Saat Pake Bandha, Kal Ratri, Phool Sajja and Amar Sangi. In one of the rounds Biswajeet Chakravarty was asked the question which actor’s role would he had loved to play between Chabi Biswas, Kamal Mitra and others. He said he would have loved to play the character of Chabi Biswas. No other actor had played the role of father better than Chabi Biswas. In the Saat Pake Bandha round Shubhadra Chakravarty danced in the song number “samundar me nahake aur bhi namkeen ho gayi ho”. She danced with her husband Feroz. In the Kalratri round Feroz was asked about which Bengali dish he liked the most. Both Feroz and Shubhadra Chakravarty said it was Sorshebata Ilish. In the Kalratri round, Shankha Sinha was asked which of the cold drinks he liked the most. Both he and Manashi Sinha said it was nimbu pani. Her husband was not very fond of different types of juices. In the Foolsajja round, the celebrities were required to search an ornament from a bhoolbhulaiya. Palash Adhikari who played the role of the mother in law said that how come Shubhadra Chakravarty instead of selecting heroes as life partner selected Feroz? Fatik Purokayet told Biswajeet Chakravarty that once his wife said that there was a quarrel going on in the neighbourhood. His wife asked Biswajeet Chakravarty to solve the problem. He said he went to find solution. But the quarrel started from the time he intervened. Prasenjit Chatterjee and Rachana Banerjee anchored the program very well. As it was Poila Baishakh, the celebrities were given sweets as well.

Rachana Banerjee brought celebrities Sudipta Chakraborty, Somlata Chakraborty, Deboleena Dutta, Usushi Chakraborty and Ujjaini Mukherjee in the program Didi No. 1 in Zee Bangla Program on 4th November, 2011.

Sudipta Chakraborty is the daughter of actor Biplab Ketan. She shared her experience in acting with Rachana Banerjee. Somlata Chakraborty is a successful singer. Deboleena Dutta is an established actress of Bengali films and serials. In the first round, all the celebrities were asked to eat biscuits that were tied to strings. Ujjaini Mukherjee said that she had learned classical singing from Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and other singers.

In the second round Biswajeet Chakraborty came to sing songs. He said he was also influenced by the theatre of Biplab Ketan titled Manik Sangbad which had character Marybaba. Sudipta Chakraborty sang the song “o tota pakhire” which was originally sung by Nirmala Misra very well.

Somlata Chakraborty sang the Rabindrasangeet “jagorone jay bibhabori”. Deboleena Dutta showed dance performance in the song “sik ki biwi moti”. Ujjaini Mukherjee sang the Bengali version of the song “yaar bina chain kahan re”.

In the 3rd round Deboleena Dutta did the acting of Tuntun. Usushi Chakraborty did the acting of Rekha in the film Umrao Jaan.

At the end of the show Somlata Chakraborty became Didi No. 1. Rachana Banerjee anchored the program very well.

Raju Middya astonished actor Biswajeet Chakraborty in Zee Mirakkel Program held in Zee Bangla Channel on 18th October, 2011. Bisawjeet Chakraborty was the Guest judge of the program.

Raju Middya showed the way a drama actor (jatra actor) in Bengal would have talked if he would have been a bus conductor in a private bus of Bengal. Paran Banerjee, the judge commented that Raju Middya’s performance had the flavor folklore of villages of Bengal.

Vicky and Partho were excellent on 18th October, 2011. Partho played the role of blind Dhritarashra of Mahabharata. Vicky asked witty questions and Partho replied to them in the most funny style as possible. Paran Banerjee, Rajatavo Dutta and Srilekha Mitra gave standing tribute to Vicky and Partho. Mir Afsar Ali said whenever Boris Becker, Steven Edberg used to make comeback, the media flashed about them, so he wanted to mention that Vicky and Partho had made a comeback.

Sangeet Tiwary and the other performers also did extremely well. Biswajeet Chakraborty said their experience in Hongkong during the shooting of Sandip Ray’s Tintorettor Jishu. Bibhu Bhattacharya who died very recently selected a food item and later realized that it was a preparation of octopus. Paran Banerjee also disclosed the details of the lunch experience.
