Govinda stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 8th July, 2013.

Popular actor Govinda stormed Zee Bangla Mirakkel Program on 8th July, 2013. He came as a guest judge in the program. The other judges who were there in the program included Rajatavo Dutta, Srilekha Mitra and Paran Banerjee. The anchor Mir Afsar Ali asked Govinda about his struggle to success in Bollywood films. He said that he belonged to a middle-class family and he was the youngest of the six children. He used to travel kilometers after kilometers for work on foot. Govinda’s pet name was chi chi which meant the little finger in Punjabi. From the film Ilzaam in 1986, his career took a turn. The film became hit and Govinda became a dancing star. Mir asked Govinda that he had been an ever-smiling person, what was the secret of his smile. In reply Govinda said that human beings are full of sorrows, so they should not allow the pain appear in the face. So the smile sheds the inner feelings in the mind. To impress Govinda, the performers Sourav, Sayon and others played an act of wrestling with comedy dialogues. The Apurbo Roy came up with an act with the title “chikni chameli”. He dressed himself in the same attire similar to that of Katrina Kaif in the film Agneepath. Govinda danced in the song “mai to raste se jaa rahatha”. He asked Mir to dance with him. Mir sang the song “aap ke aajane se” for Govinda. Mir asked Govinda about his comeback in the films with the success of Partner with Salman Khan. Govinda said he was involved with politics and won election and became MP from congress (I). Then he returned from politics and concentrated again in films. David Dhawan and Salman Khan helped him to get a good role in the film Partner. He had acted in 17 films of David Dhawan. He was very amazed that he had been given a role of an innocent person in the film Partner, when he returned back from the complicated world of politics. But the film ended up being super hit. All the judges including Rajatavo Dutta, Paran Banerjee and Srilekha Mitra appreciated Govinda’s performance at every level.
