The father of Monami Ghosh expired 4 years ago. Monami Ghosh said that he had seen her success in Bengali serials and films. She made very elementary wishes before Debshankar Halder in the program. She wanted a house for her dog. Then in the second round she wanted a foot massage for her mother. As she had a 2 storeyed her mother had problems of climbing the stairs. She had answered correct answers till the 2nd round. After that she lost out. She also said that she learned dancing from an age of 3 years. That had helped her cement her place in the Bengali film industry. Recently she also acted in Shiboprasad Mukherjee’s film Bela Sheshe. She played the role of the daughter of Soumitra Chatterjee. Shiboprasad Mukherjee came with his mother in the show. He had been the director of recently released successful Bengali films Belasheshe and Ramdhonu. Shiboprasad had directed the films with Nandita Ray. He said Debshankar Halder is a genius. He said he contributed in Bengali theatre, he had been an eminent actor in Bengali films and as an anchor had made the program Zee Bangla Happy Parents Day very popular. There is no substitute of Debshankar Halder. Shiboprasad told the background of the film Belasheshe was that families these days are getting disintegrated. So the human values are reducing down. In that backdrop the film where Soumitra Chatterjee and Sathilekha Sengupta had acted together 30 years after acting in Satyajit Ray’s film Ghare Baire, has relevance.

Indrani Dutta, Sathilekha Sengupta, Monami Ghosh, Somlata stormed Zee Bangla Didi No. 1 Program.

Indrani Dutta, Sathilekha Sengupta, Monami, Somlata stormed Zee Bangla Didi No. 1 Program. On 30th April, 2015, Rachana Banerjee called celebrities in Zee Bangla Didi No. 1 Program. The celebrities included Sathilekha Sengupta, Monami, Somlata and Indrani Dutta. The entire team had come to promote the new Bengali film Belasheshe. Sathilekha Sengupta

had acted opposite Soumitra Chatterjee in the film. They were paired together by Satyajit Ray in the film ghare Baire, way back in 1984. After 31 years they came back together. Soumitra played the role of an old person. He wanted to give divorce to his wife Sathilekha at old age. Their sons and daughters were brought together by the decision. Monami Ghosh, Indrani Dutta acted in the film while Somlata had sung song in the film. Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy directed the film. Shiboprasad Mukherjee came in the show to tell the story of the film Belasheshe. Sathilekha said that her experience of acting in Ray’s film Ghare Baire was grand. She never saw a director of the callibre of Satyajit Ray. She also said academically she never stood second in life. She had passion for theatre that made her actress. Indrani Dutta said that from childhood she learned dancing. She was first a dancer, then an actress. Her family members were good singers. Rachana Banerjee to sing the song “jagorone jay bibhabori”. Indrani Dutta danced in the song. Monami Ghosh also danced on the song of Bhuter bhobishyat. At the end of the show, Monami Ghosh answered maximum number of questions and became Didi No.1. Rachana Banerjee anchored the film very well.

Mithun Chakravarty called Arjun Chakravarty, Kushal Chakravarty and others in Dadagiri Program in Zee Bangla Channel on 10^th December, 2011. The other stars included Sudipta Chakravarty, Monami Ghosh, Deboleena Dutta and others.

All the participants were great admirers of Mithun Chakravarty. When Mithun showed a clipping relating to a song of film Disco Dancer, Monami Ghosh, failed to identify the song and said “I am a street dancer”.  Arjun Chakravarty rightly identified the song of Manna Dey that was played by Mithun Chakravarty.

Deboleena Dutta failed to identify a film clipping from the film Kalpurush. Kushal Chakravarty answered his questions in style. Same was the case of Sudipta Chakravarty.

There were no winners or losers of the star show. No one was eliminated during the different rounds of Dadagiri like Toss round, Quick Or Quack, Googly round, Chaturongo round, etc. Mithun Chakravarty anchored the program in style. He used his excellent wit and sense of humour to keep the participants in merry mood.

All the participants had acted with Mithun Chakravarty in Bengali films in the past. So for them it was there own house as such where they were involved in unofficial adda.
