On the day of Holi, Rachana Banerjee and Prasenjit Chatterjee invited celebrities in the program Zee Bangla Tumi Je Amar. The celebrities includes Rishi Mukherjee, Swagata Mukherjee, Biswanath Basu, Debika Basu, singer Anindya Basu and his wife and others. In the second round, Biswanath Basu was asked the name of the first film he went to watch with his wife Devika Basu. He gave a different answer while his wife Devika Basu it was Shahrukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om. In that round Rishi Mukherjee was asked the colour of the flower put in the head of his wife Swagata Mukherjee. He gave a wrong answer. While he said it was white and black, where as it was yellow. But Biswanath Basu’s wife Devika Basu gave the right answer about Biswanath Basu’s choice of the song “aaj na chorenge” which he would have loved to dance at. He danced with his wife when the song was played. In the fourth round all the celebrity husbands were asked to get inside the bhoolbhulaiya and bring an ornament kept there for their wives. Biswanath Basu and fell in the trap of Palash Adhikari. He disguised himself as mother in law and asked him a number of questions. He also entered the cubicle of Pallabi Mukherjee who imitated the tune of Koel Mullick and asked him to imitate her. After a lot of effort Biswanath Basu found the ornament and brought it for his wife. Anindya Basu also fell in the same trap and Palash Adhikari climbed on his shoulders and everyone said Anindya was Vikram while Palash was Betaal. Rishi Mukherjee brought the ornament at the shortest time. In the last round both Rishi Mukherjee and Biswanath Basu gave right answers to all the questions asked and Rishi Mukherjee and Swagata Mukherjee became the champion. Very significantly all of them are famous for being the wives of noted Bengali actors Biswanath Bose, Neel, Anindya Banerjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Jaijeet Banerjee, etc. Superstar Mithun Chakravarty conducted the program. He asked the wife of Saswata Chatterjee a number of questions. He said did she remember anything about her father –in-law Subhendu Chatterjee who was renowned Bengali actor acting in films like Chowrangee. The wife of Saswata Chatterjee said Subhendu Chatterjee was a patient reader. He was also a doctor. Whenever he found time he used to always read books. He loved in granddaughter very much. Once he went to Japan. He brought a lot of toys for the granddaughter. Anindya Banerjee’s wife said that her husband knows nothing about going to market, purchasing vegetables, rice, wheat, etc. But he is a very good father. He takes care of the child. Jayjeet Banerjee’s wife jokingly said her husband did not have a bath for more than 5 days. Jayjit Banerjee asked Mithun Chakravarty who did cut his hair in the film Nobel Chor? Mithun said he got the hair cut in Mumbai, but told the barber to give a “saracut”, but the barber messed up everything. Everyone laughed at Mithun’s words. He anchored the show excellently.

Imon Chatterjee and his wife Ananya Chatterjee, Biswanath Basu and his wife Devika Basu, Rupankar Bagchi and his wife Chaitali Lahiri, Jaijeet Banerjee and his wife Shreya Banerjee, stormed Zee Bangla Didi No. 1 program on holi special on 8th March, 2012. All these guests were called by the anchor June Malia. In the first round Imon Chatterjee, Biswanath Basu, Rupankar Bagchi and Jaijeet Banerjee were asked to stand on a platform and their wives were asked to throw balloons full of coloured water. It was very funny. In the second round, Anindya Chatterjee of Chandrabindu band came and sang the song “taker jatna nin”. All the celebrities were asked to sing songs. Imon Chatterjee sang the song “aloker oi jharna dharae”. Biswanath Basu sang the song “dum maro dum”. Rupankar Bagchi and Jaijeet Banerjee also sang their holi numbers. In the third round, Biswanath Basu and his wife Devika Basu were asked to do play acting. They acted out Big B’s performance in the song “rang barse” from the film Silsila. At the end of the show, Biswanath Basu and Devika Basu won the title by answering maximum number of questions. It was fun and colour everywhere. June Malia anchored the program in style.
