Arijit Singh stormed Zee Bangla Saregamapa Little Champs Program. Singer Arijit Singh came to Zee Bangla Saregamapa Little Champs Program on 23rd August, 2013. He came, saw and conquered. The judges of the program namely Kumar Shanu, Akriti Kakkar, Joy Sarkar and Koushiki welcomed him in the show. The anchor of the show Jishu Sengupta told Kumar Shanu that it was an occasion when the singer of the older Ashiqi film and the singer of the present film Ashiqi 2 is seen together. Jishu Sengupta asked Kumar Shanu and Arijit Singh to come to the stage and sing the songs of Ashiqi film. Kumar Shanu sang his famous song “sanson ki zaroorat hai jaise” from the film Ashiqi. Arijit Singh sang his song from the film Ashiqi 2. Arijit Singh recently had sung many impressive songs in Bollywood films and also Bengali films. Vaani Kapoor won the award for the best debut female in the film Shudh Desi Romance. Raj Kumar Rao won the award for the best supporting actor for his performance in the film Shudh Desi Romance. Divya Dutta won the award for the best supporting actress for her performance in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Dhanush won the best actor newcomer male award for his performance in the film Raanjhana. Priyanka Chopra won the best female international icon award. Abhishek Bacchan hosted the show. Sourav Ganguly invited celebrities in Zee Bangla Dadagiri Program on 19th November, 2013. Arijit Singh, Aneek, June Banerjee, Sayoni, Hiron Chatterjee and others came in the show. Arijit Singh, June Banerjee and Hiron Chatterjee were part of the team of film Majnu. Majnu is the new film which is going to be released very soon. Srabanti Chatterjee had been cast opposite Hiron Chatterjee in the film. Sourav Ganguly asked Arijit Singh to sing a song. He sang the song “hum tere bin ab rah nahi sakte”. He also sang the title song of Dadagiri. He asked Sourav Ganguly to sing it. He jokingly said if Arijit Singh was asked to face Wasim Akram in his first spell was it possible, so Arijit Singh was fit to sing the title song of Dadagiri than Ganguly himself.
