Tabooji and Alia Bhattji won filmfare best actress award in 2023 for Bhoolbhulaiya 2 and Gangubai film
Tabooji won best actress award in filmfare award for film Bhoolbhulaiya 2 and Alia Bhattji won filmfare award for Gangubai film.After much drama over who’s attending and not attending the 68th annual Filmfare Awards, the ceremony concluded in grand fashion in Mumbai on Thursday night, and winners proudly posed with the black lady (the trophy) in their hands.
The glamorous night kicked-off with Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Rekha, Janhvi Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Vicky Kaushal and several others walking the red carpet. Salman Khan hosted the event, along with Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul. Electrifying dance performances by Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez were the major highlight of the starry night. The awards function was conducted at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai.

Alia Bhatt won the coveted Best Actor (female) award and her film Gangubai Kathiawadi was declared the best film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali completed the sweep and won the Best Director award.
Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao and Sheeba Chaddha won critics’ choice awards for Badhaai Do and the social comedy-drama was also declared the Best Film (critics’ choice).
While Kartik Aaryan did not win an award for his highly successful film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, directed by Anees Bazmee, Tabu took home the Best Actress award (critics’ choice). What turned out to be a pleasant surprise is Sanjay Mishra winning the Best Actor (critics’ choice) award for his critically acclaimed film Vadh also starring Neena Gupta.
Brahmastra was a massive success at the box office, however, it did not take home any major trophies. However, it did win the best music album award, where as Amitabh Bhattacharya won the best lyrics awards for the film’s popular song “Kesariya” and Arijit Singh won the best playback singer (male) for the same song.
The awards recognised talent from Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund, with Ankush Gedam winning the best debutant actor (male) award and Anek’s Andrea Kevichüsa winning the best debutant actor (female) award. Veteran actor Prem Chopra was honoured with the lifetime achievement award.
