Happy birthday to star of the millenium Amitabh Bachhanji

The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to the megastar of bollywood films Amitabh Bacchan on 11th October, 2026. Born in 1942, he had been the most popular actor of the entire millennium. In the 70s his films like Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewar created a new age of action films. His angry young man image created a revolution during an age when corruption became rampant in India. If Zanjeer was related to the obstacles faced by an honest police officer to safely perform his duties, Deewar was based on the contradiction of two brothers of whom one was a police officer, while the other was compelled to be a smuggler due to social compulsions. Sholay was based on the story of domination of the Chambal region of India by dacoits. The Thakur (played by Sanjeev Kumar) of the village employed two brave criminals namely Big B and Dharmender to face the dacoits. Big B was a very powerful actor and became the choice of all the leading directors of the 70s and 80s. His films included Abhimaan directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Sholay directed by Ramesh Sippy, Zanjeer directed by Prakash Mehra, Deewar directed by Yash Chopra, Barsaat Ki Ek Raat directed by Shakti Samanta, Amar Akbar Anthony directed by Manmohan Desai, to name a few. The other factor which singled out Big B with the other actors in terms of his versatility was his baritone voice which he modulated to perfection. His comedy films like Namakhalal, Chupke Chupke, Amar Akbar Anthony, created new dimensions in Indian film history. His notable films during the 80s included Shakti, Akhree Rasta, Inquilab, etc. Even in the 90s his films like Akela and Indrajeet carried his strong personality forward. Big B had played a huge innings as a character actor and his films like Black, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, etc., showed the viewers, that after Dilip Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar, Big B was an actor with whom the directors could do any experiment. His performance in his son Abhishek Bacchan’s films like Bunty Aur Babli had also been notable. In 2010, he received the national award for the best actor for the third time for his excellent performance in the film Paa. In 2011, he was absolutely brilliant in the role of an academician in Prakash Jha’s film Aarakshan. In 2013, his performance in Prakash Jha’s film Satyagraha was brilliant. Day by day his acting skills are just getting better and better and he is experimenting in different types of roles. Even in Kaun Banega Crorepati he is the anchor and his profound educational background and pure hindi accent amazes the viewers. Sony TV cannot think about any other anchor other than Amitabh Bacchan. In 2018 he is acting in the film Thugs of Hindustan. In 2022 his film Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor became blockbuster of doing business above 430 crores. The viewers expect him to continue the great work that he started 40 years back.

On Mahalaya bengalies hear Mohishashur Mordini in all India radio

For Bengalies the greatest festival of the year include Durga Puja. The flavor of the festival is set up by Mahalaya which occurs seven days before the occasion. Mohishahshur Mordini had not lost its appeal even after 60 years of its creation. It is played in All India Radio on the morning of every Mahalaya each year. In 2013 it was also played and it enchanted numerous bengalies all across the world. The mantra in the entire play was uttered by Birendra Krishna Bhadra who became a living legend in the early 50s. He conducted all the important programs in All India Radio from Kolkata at a time when Television did not appear in India and Radio was the only medium of entertainment. From Mahalaya the Petripaksha ends and Devipaksha begins. Hindus all over the world worship Goddess Durga and the occasion lies for four days including Shashti, Saptami, Ashtami and Navami. On Dashami Goddess Durga is immersed in holy Ganges. Mahalay is the day when Hindus do tarpan in the Ganges to remember the ancestors who had died but were still attached with the next generation. When Birendra Bhadra directed Mohishashur Mordini, the tale relating to Goddess Durga defeating the devil powers under the name of Mohishahur, Singer Pankaj Mallick and Bani Kumar also made notable contribution to bring in all the legendary singers of Bengal and made them sing significant songs. For example Manobendra Mukherjee sang “tabo achinto”, Dijen Mukherjee sang “jago tumi jago”. The other singers included Supriti Ghosh, Sumitra Sen, Sandhya Mukherjee, Shaymal Mitra, Utpala Sen and others. Supriti Ghosh sang the song “bajlo tomar alor benu”, Shipra Bose sang the song “ogo amar agomoni alo”, Tarun Banerjee sang the song “he chinmoyi”, Sandhya Mukherjee sang the song “bimane bimane”, Krishna Dasgupta sang the song “akhilo bimane taba jayogatha”, Pratima Banerjee sang the song “amala kirane tribhubane”, Shyamal Mitra, Arati Mukherjee and Ashima Bhattacharya sang the chorus song “shubhra shankha rabe”, Utpala Sen sang the song “shanti dile bhari”, Pankaj Mullick sang the song “rupang dehi jayang dehi”. Birendra Bhadra was unparallel in the manner in which he pronounced the Sanskrit sloks, which could not be replicated and when Uttam Kumar that greatest superstar of Bengal tried to do it, he was criticized and All India Radio again displayed the Mohishashur Mordini directed by Birendra Bhadra. Even Hindus across India celebrate Navratri and Dussehra based on the success of God in defeating evil powers. Even today Bengalies feel that it creates a Godly atmosphere and gives the feeling that Goddess Durga had really arrived on earth. These days a lot of programs are held in television to depict mohishashur mordini in television. For example in Zee Bangla channel on 15th October, 2012, Srabanti Chatterjee and Shubhashree played the role of Sati in Satir Ekanno Peeth in the play related to Mahishashur Mordini. In 2013 Zee Bangla came up with another musical program on Maa Durga where Arindam Mukherjee did the narration. But the importance of mohishashur mordini in All India Radio cannot be replaced. It is a historical piece of creation and should be restored.

Mahalaya and Mohishashur Mordini marks the beginning of Durga Puja all over the world

Mahalaya marks the beginning of Durga Puja all over the world. Mahalaya held every year, marks the beginning of Durga Puja all over the world. For bengalies in Mahalaya pritripakha ends, debipakha begins. On the same day, people go to the holy ganges to do tarpan, that is pay respect to the departed souls of father and ancestors. Different types of tarpans are done on the day including pitri tarpan, matri tarpan, deb tarpan, etc. Durga Puja is the puja of Asurdalani Maa Durga, who had defeated the evil forces (mahashahura) and brought peace and solidarity in the earth. All India Radio had a played a very important role in depicting the story of Mahalaya every year in the early morning. Mahishashur Mordini had been eternal creation of Birendra Krishna Bhadra, Bani Kumar and Pankaj Mullick. The way Birendra Krishna Bhadra had uttered the slokas “ya devi sarbabhuteshu shaktirupenu samhastita, namasthaswai namasthaswai namasthaswai namoh namohah”, he created an enchanting atmosphere, and devotees started feeling that they were in heaven. The other great part of Mahishashur Mordini was the great songs sung by legendary Bengali singers of the golden age, namely “taba achinto “ sung by Manobendra Mukherjee, “jago tumi jago” sung by Dwijen Mukherjee, and many songs sung by Sandhya Mukherjee, Suprava Sarkar, Supriti Ghosh, Shyamal Mitra and other legends. These days a lot of programs are held in television to depict mohishashur mordini in television. For example in Zee Bangla channel on 15th October, 2012, Srabanti Chatterjee and Shubhashree are going to play the role of Sati in Satir Ekanno Peeth in the play related to Mahishashur Mordini. But the importance of mohishashur mordini in All India Radio cannot be replaced. It is a historical piece of creation and should be restored. In the new durga puja in 2023, it is expected that everyone in every part of the world should enjoy Durgapuja in their own way. Mahishashur Mordini is the best creation of All India Radio. In 3 days Drishyam 3 with Ajay Devganji Tabuji did business of 175 crores in India and 230 crores business worldwide to make it blockbuster.Drishyam: The Conclusion[b] is a 2026 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film co-written, produced, and directed by Abhishek Pathak. Produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studio18, it is a sequel to Drishyam 2 (2022). Unlike its predecessors, the film features an original story and is not narratively connected to its Malayalam counterpart.[6] The film stars Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav.[7] Principal photography took place from December 2025 to June 2026 primarily in Mumbai and Goa.[8] Drishyam: The Conclusion was released in theatres on 2 October 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.[9] The film received positive reviews from critics.[10] It is currently the 5th highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026. Plot The plot of the film connects with the predecessor. For more information on the predecessor's plot, see Drishyam 2. Six months later,[c] the case against the Salgaonkar family has been closed due to a lack of evidence. Devastated by her inability to prove Vijay's involvement in her son Sameer's death, Meera Deshmukh's mental state deteriorates. Her husband, Mahesh eventually asks SP Rajveer Singh Tomar of the Crime Branch to reopen the investigation, despite previously opposing the idea. Despite DNA testing proving that the skeleton recovered in the previous investigation did not belong to Sameer, Tomar suspects that Vijay may have replaced Sameer's skeletal remains shortly before the court proceedings. He and Laxmikant Gaitonde quietly resume the investigation, monitoring Vijay's movements. During their surveillance, they discover that Vijay has been frequently visiting a local church and has befriended Raghu, the security guard at a medical college, where the evidence was previously stored. Raghu reveals that Vijay visited the college with him on the night of 23 July 2021, the day skeletal was obtained from the Pandolem Police Station, where they drank together until passing out. As the college had no functioning CCTV cameras covering the evidence room, Tomar concludes that Vijay used the opportunity to swap Sameer's skeleton with another set of remains. Tomar begins an investigation into the origin of the unidentified skeleton that Vijay allegedly used during the exchange. He and his team search records for young men approximately between the ages of 15 and 20 years old, who died of severe head trauma and eventually identifies the swapped skeleton as belonging to Christopher Pinto. His investigation leads him to Christopher's grave and its caretaker Savio D'Souza, who has since disappeared. Meanwhile, Vijay maintains a respectable public image, regularly visiting a local church and making donations while continuing to work on his upcoming film. He also begins working with a prop artist to create a highly realistic prop for its production. Vijay's elder daughter, Anju, deeply concerned about her family's case being reopened, remains reluctant to move on with her life. Vijay, who is attempting to arrange a suitable marriage for her, reassures her that he has filed a petition in the High Court to permanently close the case. Savio is eventually located in Kerala and agrees to submit a written statement against Vijay, implicating him in the disappearance and replacement of Christopher's skeleton. Meanwhile, Meera and Mahesh hire prominent lawyer Indrajith Shetty to represent them. During the subsequent court hearing, Raghu testifies that Vijay was with him at the college on the night of 23 July 2021, while Savio retracts his statement, claiming it was coerced by the police. Shetty argues that the conflicting evidence warrants further investigation and requests the court to order the excavation of Christopher's grave. Despite objections from Vijay's defense, the court grants the request. When Tomar and his team arrive at the cemetery, they are confronted by members of the local Christian community, who oppose the excavation on religious grounds. The excavation eventually takes place; however to everyone's surprise, Christopher's skeletal remains intact. Concurrently, Shetty questions Nandini about Vijay's whereabouts on the night of 23 July 2021. She states that Vijay was at home. Shetty then presents audio recordings gathered by undercover officers, Shiv and Jenny, who purchased a property next to the Salgaonkar residence and installed surveillance equipment.[d] The audio recordings places Vijay inside his home, directly contradicting Raghu's testimony. Due to conflicting evidence, the court finds reasonable doubt, accquits the Salgaonkar family, and permanently closes the case. After the hearing, Tomar, Meera, Mahesh, Shiv, and Jenny reconstruct Vijay's scheme. Approximately two and a half years ago, Jenny and Shiv purchased the neighbouring property while working undercover. Vijay had initially been suspicious of the couple and later discovered that they had installed listening devices throughout his house. Anticipating that his movements would be monitored, Vijay devised a second deception. With the cooperation of his family, he used a cassette player, radio, and prerecorded recordings to create the impression that he was at home on the night of 23 July 2021. While the recording played inside the house, Vijay was actually at the college with Raghu. To delay the excavation, through his regular visits to the church, Vijay used a false identity "Sister Pereira" to repeatedly warn members that the government planned to demolish the church and cemetery to acquire the land, while arranging for the JCB operators and workers to appear that such preparations were underway. Vijay eventually used this deception to prevent the police from thoroughly examining Christopher's grave. Although they reconstruct his plan, they have no evidence that can be used to prove it in court. Christopher's skeleton remains in his grave, the recordings appear to establish Vijay's presence at his home, and the community continues refusing further disturbance of the grave. However, one question remains unresolved: if Christopher's skeleton is still in his grave, where is the skeleton Vijay originally used to replace Sameer's? The answer is revealed when Vijay meets Savio. Savio had expected Vijay to return Christopher's skeleton after using it in the exchange. However, because the skeleton was placed under strict surveillance in the evidence room, Vijay was unable to retrieve it. It is then revealed that Vijay's months-long work with the prop artist served another purpose. The supposedly ordinary film prop was actually a highly detailed replica of a human skeleton. Vijay obtains the replica and with the assistance of Savio, secretly places it inside Christopher's grave. With the replica placed in the coffin, Vijay fulfills his promise to Savio while convincing both the authorities and local community that Christopher's remains were never disturbed. Ultimately, Vijay turns the evidence meant to expose him into part of his alibi, leaving the police without usable evidence against his family. At two-and-a-half hours, however, the film begins to drag towards the end and could have benefited from tighter editing. Still, its biggest strength remains its ability to keep you immersed and consistently anxious about what happens next."[37] Kartik Bhardwaj of Cinema Express also gave the film 4 stars out of 5, observing, "In the era of passive viewing on OTT and loud spectacles in theatres, Drishyam 3 provides such a cerebrally engaged viewing experience which has become a rarity."[38] Anuj Kumar of The Hindu wrote, "The script smartly absorbs the franchise’s obsession, where viewers see Vijay as an unbeatable folk hero. So, instead of showing us how he hides the crime, the screenplay spends a lot of time on how the system attempts to deconstruct the myth of a 4th-grade dropout. In this subversion of power, Ajay Devgn’s inscrutable face forces the polished system to peel back its civility and resort to desperate hostility."[39] Pragati Awasthi of WION summed up in her review, "For me, Drishyam: The Conclusion gave me the satisfying ending my inner soul was wishing for."[40] Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express gave the film 3 stars out of 5, observing, "But while the men do most of the heavy lifting, I don:t think I will be able to forget Tabu’s wounded eyes, which belong to a mother unable to comprehend a world which doesn't have her only child. She's terrific, as always."[41] Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV also gave the film 3 stars out of 5, writing, "Riding on a taut script that is predicated on mishaps and moves of the past, Drishyam: The Conclusion stitches together a tale that is fascinating enough not to lose much steam as it makes its way to a flummoxing and inconclusive denouement. The elements strewn along the pathway to the climax do their bit to hold the film together."[42] Rishabh Suri of Hindustan Times gave the film 3 stars out of 5 as well and concluded in his review, "Overall, Drishyam: The Conclusion has enough drama and nostalgia to keep the fans engaged. But for a franchise that built its reputation on making the impossible seem plausible, this one asks us to take a few too many things at face value. It has the ingredients of a satisfying finale, just not the trick to pull it off. The mystery may finally be over, but the magic of the first Drishyam remains hard to recreate."[43] Sana Farzeen of India Today, too, gave the film 3 stars out of 5, writing in her review, "The film moves with confidence, but the problem comes in when it occasionally becomes too indulgent. There is a lot of dialogue-baazi, and while some of it is entertaining, most of it begins to feel like the writers are enjoying their own cleverness a little too much. There is a courtroom exchange where the judge tells everyone to come to the "mudde ki baat", and honestly, there are moments when you want to say the same thing to the film."[44] Likewise, Chirag Sehgal of News18 gave the film 3 stars out of 5 and noted, "Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is a gripping and fast-paced thriller that understands the appeal of its franchise. It keeps you invested and benefits from strong performances, particularly from Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj and Kamlesh Sawant. However, the film's biggest strength is also its weakness. It is not a bad film but it sticks closely to the Drishyam formula, making it familiar. It is not a grand conclusion that the franchise deserved."[45] Sukanya Verma of Rediff.com gave the film 2.5 stars out of 5. She noted, juxtaposing against Malayalam counterpart, "Georgekutty [Drishyam 3 protagonist] monetises the guilt he is burdened by to make his movie making dreams come true. He's a hypocrite and conformist yet accepting of his flaws and errors. No such character evolution is to be found in Drishyam: The Conclusion."[46] Bryan Durham of Variety India pointed out, "[...] the cat-and-mouse game is not as entertaining as it once was. There’s nothing to look forward to anymore: not the novelty or enthusiasm that defined the first film, not the tension and game of wits that elevated the second."[47]
