Aiswarya Rai and Abhishek Bacchan
Aiswarya Rai had acted probably opposite all the leading actors of bollywood in her career. She had done exceedingly well whenever she had performed opposite Abhishek Bacchan. They had very well in the film Dhai Aksar Prem ke, where the title song of the film became very successful.
The same pair again did very well in the film Kuch Na Kaho. It was a story where Raj wanted to live a life of his own. Namrata tried to find a suitable wife for Raj. But Raj fall in love with the match maker herself. The story was baed on a romantic plot and both Abhishek and Aishwarya complimented each other in the film.
In the film Bunty Aur Babli, although Aishwarya did not act in the leading role, her item number in the film titled “kajra re” became a landmark hit. Abhishek had done extremely well with Rani Mukherjee in the film. The film was related to youngstars who were involved in big robberies but the police had failed to understand their plans and catch them. Ultimately Big B caught them when they were involved in another unlawful act.
Their best performance was probably reserved for Guru. In Guru, Abhishek played the role of person from Gujarat who came to Turkey and then to Mumbai to start his career. He brought his wife Aiswarya also with him. He faced a lot of resistance while starting his own company called Shakti Trading but overcame those barriers to become successful in business. Mithun Chakravarty exposed Guru’s unjust ways. There are other aspects in the film of Mani Ratnam, but the performance of the pair of Abhishek and Aiswarya and music of AR Rehman was well appreciated.
After marriage, the viewers expect both of them to even better in other films when they will act together in the years to come.
