Rachana Banerjee had been brilliant in Didi No. 1 show in Zee Bangla.

Actress Rachana Banerjee had remained brilliant in Didi No. 1 show in Zee Bangla Television Channel. She had made the program extremely popular. The Program starts at 5.30 pm and continues till 6.30 pm on week days.

In the month of July, 2011, she had brought the celebrities like Anamika Saha, Bidisha of program Erao Shatru, Chaiti Ghoshal, the daughter of actor Shyamal Ghoshal, and others. Her program is divided into a number of rounds with different names like Purano Sei Diner Kotha, Ami Sei Meye, etc.

In the first round she made the participants play certain games like breaking earthen pots after closing the eyes. These games were played by the participants at their youth. Bidisha did a great job by breaking 5 earthen pots and getting maximum points. On another day she asked Chaiti Ghoshal and others to shoot balloons from some distance with a gun.

In the second round she generally had brought singers like Paran Banerjee, Kharaj Mukherjee and asked them to sing songs and the participants had to sing back the missing part. There was one more round where the participants had to act and play important roles. In the last round the participants had to answer puzzles to get gift items. Most of the puzzles were in the form of poetry.

The gift items given in the program were also very useful items like Wall Clock, ladies bag, Mixer Grinder, Hot Kettle, Make Up Set, etc. In the last round a quick fire 5 questions are asked where the participants are expected to answer them in 7 seconds each. On wrong answer leads to loss of two costliest gift items already won.

The good part of Rachana Banerjee was the manner in which she had hosted the program, her communication with the participants with regard and dignity, her sweet smile and efficient administration of the entire program. The program still is going on and viewers expect even better show in the days to come.
