Actors Neel Mukherjee and Parambrata Chatterjee were impressive in the film Teen Yaari Katha released in 2012. The film had been directed by Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha. Bhoomi had composed the music of the film.
In the film Neel Mukherjee, Parambrata Chatterjee and Rudraneel Ghosh were three friends sharing the same room in a rented house of Biplab Chatterjee. Biplab Chatterjee was the uncle of Neel Mukherjee.
While Neel Mukherjee sold newspapers, Rudraneel Ghosh used to drive autorickshaw. Parambrata Chatterjee was unemployed. His mother sent money to him for sustainence.
Parambrata Chatterjee loved Gargi Roy Choudhury, a theatre actress who later came to Kolkata to accomplish the career of TV serial artist. Neel Mukherjee loved Paoli Dam, a girl in her neighbourhood. Rudraneel Ghosh loved Rimjhim Mitra, the daughter of Biplab Chatterjee.
None of their affairs mature at all. Saswata Chatterjee and June Malia came to stay in their house as tenant for sometime. They tried to commit suicide but were saved by Rudranil Ghosh, Neel Mukherjee and others. Geeta Dey played the role of the grandmother of the son Neel Mukherjee who loved him due to the death of the parents at an early childhood.
Although none of the aspirations of the life of the three friends could be fulfilled they were merry and helped the cause of other neighbours. Neel Mukherjee, Parambrata Chatterjee and Rudraneel Ghosh acted well in the film. Although the film did not have great budget, viewers can enjoy the film.
