In the last few years Preeti Zinta did not play any role in hits films with the same frequency as she did in her earlier years. In the early part of her career, Preeti Zinta acted in successful films like Soldier, where she had played the role of Australian girl who had settled there and interacted with Bobby Deol who came over their to find his father’s killers. In an action film Preeti Zinta gave good lips in the songs “soldier, soldier” and other songs.

Her other films like Kya Kehna, Dil Chahta Hai were also successful in the initial years. But during the last few years she acted in serious roles like the one in the film Kabhi Alida Na Kehna. She lived in US, as the wife of Shahrukh Khan and fulfilled the responsibility of her child. Shahrukh Khan loved Rani Mukherjee who was married by Abhishek Bacchan.


The marriage of Preeti Zinta and Shahrukh Khan became a contract in the long run, instead of a sacrament. Day after day the lack of adjustment resulted in quarrels and ultimately the relationship improved. The film had an offbeat subject matter and Preeti did well in her role.

But the films last few year of Preeti Zinta did not do that well in the box-office. The films like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom opposite Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bacchan and Lara Dutta did not do well.

Preeti Zinta still has a lot of acting left in her. Whenever viewers see films like Laksh and Koi Mil Gaya opposite Hrithik Roshan viewers understand that Preeti Zinta can compliment the powerful acting of Hrithik Roshan.


Preeti Zinta has a smart upstart get up which had been utilized by the directors well over the years. Due to lack of success of her films in the recent years, her fans are worried about her fate.

Yet there is hope of Preeti Zinta to recover her box office and do well in future.
